This is boxed brand new, never used. Purchased to replace my Sony but then decided its over kill.

As most will know, this is arguably the best travel/in between SLR-compact camera you can buy.
As it is only slightly largeer than digital compacts yet has x10 zoom!

Only superceeded by the newer TZ5, which if you check the reviews is a fractional improvement i.e. for all intents and purposes the same camera (which is why I bought this instead of the TZ5).

Shipping/Payment:
Since this is brand new boxed, looking for £125 delivered (cheapest online I could find was £150).

120 is okayish :) Please post some pissy and specify what payment methods you prefer.
Due to low feedback here, may I ask you post first? I am trustworthy buyer, and I have solid ebay feedback if you want to check.
#7
Ok guys, I have added Hexus and Ebay feedback profiles (both very long standing). Since I have not been on the FS/Trade forums much here. To be honest I didn't even notice it until fairly recently, instead just thinking it was for bargains news only.
#8
i'm willing to offer asking price of £125 but on the condition you send camera first due to not seeing pictures and on your last post when you was selling a laptop you suddenly vanished from the thread ! my ebay user name is paul1521 so as you will see no problems there, also i'll also transfer money saving you paypal fees, up to you mate ball is your court!
#9
You are correct I vanished form the thread, due to being given a smacked botty from the mods.
I had not observed the rule about discussing the sale in PM's.
I have never sent an item without payment before as it puts the seller completely at risk.
But I will put up pics now (soon as I snap em), and I have given my ebay and hexus accounts as proof (both are spotless and have been in regular use for years).
#11
thanks for pics you state this is new as i cant really see camera (covered by paper)i take it there's no scratches etc on the camera? can you tell me what else comes in the box i.e if theres a memory card, case, usb lead etc thanks
#12
can you tell me when and where this was brought and do you have a reciept just wanna some back up for warrenty purposes etc thanks....
#13
Gotta see the irony in that one. I didn't take it out the case and take its pic, as I didn't want to even get a smudge on it . On account of that safely assume it has got anything on it. As promised it has never been used, simply opened the box to prove its contents etc.

Yep the purchase was with ebuyer, and its perfectely within warranty. Will provide the printed invoice with it.

It doesn't come with any cards etc, but if you need one I have a Kingston SDHC Class6/4GB (brand new) which you can have for £5 if you want.
It self comes with its pre-packaged bits n bobs. So battery, charger, usb cable, video cables and software/manuals.
Hope that helps m8.
#14
thanks for that ok could be interested if your still willing to sell to me after all my questions:-D so you willing to do a deal £125 all in including card? can pay by paypal asap doing this so i have got a bit of protection in case it goes tits up excuse the french! cheers:thumbsup:
#15
If the card ends up for sale on it's own I will give you £5 for it
#16
All due respect Paul, the card is worth more than £5 so I offered it in good faith.
Going by paypal is fine, if you cover the fees. Otherwise it just adds more cost to the sale, and possible worse fills Paypal's pockets.
Most I can go with this is that I am happy to provide you with my full personal details, including a landline number. Other than that I honestly throw in the towel.
#17
ok i know what you saying and not trying to be funny honest! you want a good deal and i want a good deal as well as been safe, so if i took yours i would be paying £130 plus paypal fees(whatever that comes too) for camera, 4gb card and delivery.... on ebay i can get camera, 8gb card, spare battery, case, lens cleaning kit ,mini tripod and delivery for £136.90. So as you can see my mind is far from made up, dont want to mess you around if you get another offer take it and good luck!

What part of NW london are you in? Is collection possible? I live near heathrow

I live in Neasden (in between Willesden Green and Wembley).
But i work in central London so am more than happy to meet in person nearer your side. During the week (lunch or after work).

Am very interested in this mate - just wondered what the small differences between this and the TZ5 are?
#21
Is this still for sale ?
#22
Yep still for sale.
Main difference is the video mode is higher res (and hence the LCD display res increased). Dont see the point of this as it still uses MOV format. So higher res mode will not allow much recording time at all.
Also they have made some difference to the controls (simplified them).
From the reivews, they say the picture improvements are very minor and even then in only certain circumstances.
#23
Can i ask how good the zoom is on this camera as i am looking for one with a decent zoom to take to the footy games, can u maybe take me a picture to show me far this camera can zoom (sorry for being a pain)

OK thats great, and you say that it is virtually brand new?

How negotiable are you on your price?
#25
OK thanx m8 but sorry im out... just got myself a TZ5. Hopefully these pannys live up to their reviews - im over budget by £60 and done my nuts this month on goodies :-P
#26
For a heads up..
I have this camera.
The zoom is 10X optical. Therefore, you get a lot closer than you would with a normal compact camera (3x-5x). However, it is a bit heavier and thicker than most compact digital cameras.
That said, I took it on holiday with me, as well as a brand new ultra-compact , but preferred to take the TZ3 each day, even though it was bigger.
It has a wide angle lens too, which is great for panoramic shots.

I wouldnt hesitate in buying it now that I have tried it (but I already have 1 lol)
#27
Is it REALLY thick though? I would have it in my pocket when I go on holiday, nights out, etc so wouldn't want it to stick out of my pocket too much!

Mate go on you tube your bound to find a video on there showing it you!

Dimensions..
105.0 x 59.2 x 36.7 mm

Its at least 3cm thick all the way along, with it being about 3.7 where the lens is. You can fit it in your pocket, and its a darn sight more portable than a dslr...
you have to decide what is more important..portability or zoom.
#30
Looks ideal to me to be honest! Just waiting on the seller to answer my previous question.... :)
#31
Wheres tweetee gone?
#32
|I don't know! Still waiting for an answer to my question and still very much interested :)
#33
Sorry about that, I have been away hence the silence.
Yes it is new, in every sense. The box has been opened but that is all!
Price I am kind of fixed on though, already dropped it a wee bit from previous posts. Was figuring that if I sell it for much less and might as well keep it and sell my sony :(
Hope that helps.
#34
Hmmm, am definitely interested in this mate but I'm not sure I could stretch that far. I have seen a couple if brand new TZ3's go on a well known auction site for around £100, so based on this would you accept £110 delivered for it?
#35
Just wondered if the OP is still selling the item? Have seen him online recently but the thread hasn't been updated :)
