had it for 5 years NEVER caused me a problem. model no 36pw9525 has the 100hz feature and matchline. this cost me nearly 1k when i bought it. picture quailty/sound is awesome and is a very well built tv. comes with a genuine alphason stand. tv is in good condition with genuine remote. will probably go on for years but have upgraded to a 1080p for gaming. will listen to any reasonable offers around £180 if thats fair the stand alone cost me £100. more pics available on request. collection only from nelson, lancashire BB9 and COD.

Would be lucky at that price even, these struggle to sell on flea-bay for £25. My dad picked up a 50" crt tv from ebay for £27. True most of them have pick up only which drastically reduces the cost.

Good luck with the sale though mate hope you get what you want for it!

lol at the price... yer what the first 2 have said, it dont matter that it cost you 1k a few years ago they dont re-sell very well at all.
#5
fair enough 50 notes it is:w00t:, is it worth selling the stand seperately?
#6
Not a prayer, our local charity shop sells all these tvs for £25 each and have them in all the time, can't give them away now.......................

was a lovely tv back in its day, but they are so heavy its unreal, a two man job at all times to lift it, let alone move it

i bought philps 32"wide screen back in 1994/1995 when widescreens wasnt really heard of at a cost of £2000
sold it 6 years ago for £400 so sold it really at the right time
put the money towards a 42" lg plasma again costing around £2000 (no tv tuner or speakers)
sold that just around a year ago for £200 with a tv tuner and the matching speakers
to put towards my latest tv
really bad when you see how much as been lost over the years just on tvs so your not the only one
good luck with the sale mate
regarding the picture quality no plasma or lcd will be as good as a crt tv for sandard definition imho cant say about led/oled as i dare'nt look into them as i'll probally get one lol
but once you put hd contect through a plasma/lcd thats when it comes into its own

Might be a good idea mate to sell the stand seperately and give the tv away free. lol jst joking.

Have you not got any older relatives to give this too? May even be worth trying to sell it to a local tv repair shop for spare parts etc etc. Failing that you could try sticking it on ebay and hope for the best, ya never know!

If your feeling extra generous donating it to a old folks home is a good option!

I'm interested in taking this off you for a nominal sum.

I think the stand my mum has will be okay. I'm reckoning you're around 15 miles from Todmorden, so need to sort some transport out (it's for an old lady, so I can't ask her to collect it herself.)

Are you ok bearing with me while I call some favours in? And can I ask your absolute best price collected please?

Sorry, wouldn't be able to shift this on my own - I can corral some help up when I get it home but don't want to risk putting my back out at your end. Thanks anyway though.
