Selling my old 'phat' 60gb Playstation 3 due to upgrading to a Slim. This is for the console only - no accessories (as I got the Slim pre-owned, console only, so I need all the accessories for that), and it will be packaged in the box from the Slim.

If you're looking at this you probably already know, but I'll say it anyway - the 60gb PS3 is one of the older models that's backwards compatible with PS2 games that they don't make anymore. This is a CECHC03, so it's not one of the very oldest as it's second generation, made since March 2007. It comes with its original 60gb hard drive, but that's easily upgradable if you need more storage space.

Another feature of this PS3 is that its software version is still at v2.80. This could be useful to some, as it means the 'Install Other OS' option is still available, so you can put Linux on it. This feature was removed with the v3.21 update on 1st April this year - I chose not to update to keep this feature.

The PS3 is in excellent condition and full working order - I've thoroughly checked it and it reads all kinds of disks fine, plays games, goes online, connects wirelessly, etc. There are a couple of tiny marks on it, but nothing major - they don't even show up in the photo.

As it's sold without any accessories you'll need at least a power cable (standard kettle lead) to power it, video cable (HDMI, or a PS2 or even PSX one would do) and a controller.

£150 for the console. If you need delivery I can send by DHL using Parcel2Go for around £8. Payment accepted by BT or PPG.

Offer of 100 here
Sorry, I think it's worth a bit more than that. These keep selling for around £150 on eBay, which is why I started at that price, although granted I'd lose a chunk paying fees I'd still end up with more than that.

I'm not sure, I haven't been playing online, but it does always have online access because it's connected to my network to stream media from my NAS drive. It prompts you to update every time you switch it on, but it won't update automatically, you have to tell it to in the settings menu. My point is it's fully functional - both ethernet and wireless work. Whether to update it or not will be up to the new owner. If they want to play online and updating is required then they'll have to sacrifice the 'Install other OS' feature.
