Got my PowerMac G5 for sale, it comes complete with installation discs for both the Tiger OS and Logic Pro 7 (also the usb dongle). Below are the specifications:

PowerMac G5 - Model No 7.2
Dual Processor 1.8Ghz - 970 Type (2.2)
3.5Gb of DDR SDRAM PC200 RAM
160Gb SATA Hard Drive
Geforce FX 5200 64mb - 1680X1050 resolution
Pioneer DVD-RW 111D
Mac OS X Tiger - With installation disc
Logic Pro 7 - With installation disc and dongle
Reason 4
Mac wired keyboard and mouse

Monitor is not included, but I can supply a DVI cable and power cable
Ebay Id is 'Life_of_grime' incase somebody wants to check my feedback there.
Shipping/Payment:
It comes fully boxed but is pretty damn heavy, so I would defiantly prefer collection or I'm happy to personally deliver within 50 miles of Swindon, Wiltshire. I think it's right on the weight limit of what most couriers will accept, but if you did want to go down that route it would be around £20. (or cheaper if you can recomend somebody)

Very nice bit of kit.

Bit of advice,if it doesn't sell on here people are always looking for Apple kit in good condition on AV forums, sold several items on there recently.

ill start it rolling at 350?

I believe that the maximum resoluiton for the 5200 card is 1920 x 1200.

You might find postage will be slightly dearer with the extra insurance required to cover the value.

Good luck with the sale.

Just for comparison, GeekBench results show that even the old 2007 Mac Mini outperforms this model by 60%.
Power Mac Dual G5 1.8ghz 970 - 1571
Mac Mini Dual 2.0Ghz - 2580

and uses FAR less electricity, too

Thanks for the offer, I'll keep you in mind. But I was wanting £400+ as I've seen lower spec versions (e.g with only 1gb and 80gb hard drive and no Logic Pro) on ebay for £450.

If you were to buy it did you want it delievered or are you near wiltshire?

Personally I went for the PowerMac because I wanted a system which allowed me to record and edit my guitar playing, so I had the PowerMac set up with a M-Audio card and Logic, which I couldn't of done unless I got a firewire or usb m-audio which is known for its latency problems.

Also I prefer my computer's to be upgradable i.e add a 2nd hard drive etc (which you can't do on the mac mini)

I live in Leicester... About two and three quarter hours away from you. Could possibly meet half way?

Could possibly go to 380 if that's good for you?

Does logic 7 come with any libraries? I know Logic 8 comes with a lot of great sounds. I'm more of a Pro Tools user myself but have been looking into getting into Logic..

Would still be looking for £400 plus.

It doesn't come with any loops etc, I can include a cd of various different loops which came with another piece of software.
