I have the dates as follows ...
1998, 1999, 2001, 2002 & 2003

These are proof, ie. A+ unblemished. Dealer value is £190, i'm willing to sell at £170 ono per coin.
Collectors items, a real investment. I don't want the hassle of shopping around, so i'm offering them up for sale on HUKD. Pics to follow.

1998, 99 both sold. 2001, 02 & 03 plus 3 coin set remaining as of now.
- Scribbles

I'll do free p+p for anyone interested in buying the 2002 or 2003 half/full sovereign pair (see other thread)
- Scribbles
Shipping/Payment:
Can only accept bank transfer on these, for reasons i'm sure you will understand.

price is exclusive of £3 discounted RMSD postage. One coin = £163, two = £323, etc

lol, I tried that spelling but it didn't look right. Corrected.
I don't have them at home so i'll be taking pics tomorrow. Providing I know there is interest I will take some nice ones. As proof editions, they are mint. I only have one of each unfortunately, but I have the y2k 3-coin 22k set also (£2, sov, half sov)
Yes, I expected the questions. So ask away :)

Let me think on that offer in case I get others closer to asking  What years you interested in?
I ain't saying no, just wanna see what else comes along. In the meantime, pics are up.
Another pic below of the 3 coin 'millenium' set, i'm looking for £450 for that one. Remember, that contains the 2k editions of the £2, full sov and half sov with Royal Mint COA and deluxe display box. Rare and very collectable.
There is a LOT of gold in that one.

edit: mistake on the price of this. It should be £550, NOT £450. Apologies

Why the time pressure? Will your money suddenly disappear at noon or something? :?

Because I am interested too - look back through the thread  But I also think it's in scribble's interests to not be pressured into a quick sale

Scribbles is a big boy and knows how it works, I doubt he needs you looking after him, or your own interests more like.
Let him handle his own affairs.

ps. I won't keep this going with you.
#22
Scribbles, how much for all the coins mate?
#23
Mr BigBoy Scribbs, I will match rangermastiffs but there are no time restrictions on my offer. It will still be there at 12:01
#24
OK Scrbs my offer has expired !!

So my new offer is £310 for two
#25
12:06 and my offer is still here :p Btw, in case you are unsure, it is a serious offer. Let me know in your own good time. My cash is just sitting a savings account making interest, so I'm in no rush

EDIT: while I was writing that I see a new higher offer has come in above. I'll match that too - same conditions, no rush.

£1000 for the millenium and 5 coins...

£1000 for the millenium and 5 coins...

I'll match this and add some, but would probably prefer the smaller set.
#28
There has been lots of activity on here, i'll try to get thru the responses best I can.
@montana, sorry but your offer is too low for that package i'm afraid.
@liddle, don't worry. I'm cool with the 12:00 expiry as I didn't even get up until 12:15 lolol
What year/s are you interested in?
Save messing anyone around, i'm gonna say that £160 each is the very best I can do for each sov, and i'll charge just £3 for RMSD no matter how many you buy. £430 is as low as I can go for the millenium set, and that is included in the £3 postage offer. I guess that will address the offers :)

So, rangermastiffs and liddle - £323 posted for two coins.
@Ommid, the maths will make it £1233 but i'm prepared to knock off £8 for anyone who wants them all. So £1225 posted gets you the lot.

I'm gonna stick on these prices I think, as gold is gold the world over and those prices are very good I think. Gold = cold hard cash. Bearing in mind prices are rising atm, it's money in the bank for the buyer.

Let me know :)

£323 OK Deal (1998 & 1999)
PM me details

Would you prefer someone to take the lot scribbles?

If you will give me an hour or two to consider this, I might take your asking for the complete set.
#31
put a hold on the millenium set. made a boo boo on the price ...
In an ideal world, i'd sell the lot but ranger has made an offer for two. I'll have to take that as a sale unless the buyer pulls out.
#32
In fact, as you are hesitating, I can make a provisional offer to take the full set based on your asking ("So £1225 posted gets you the lot.") but I'd prefer to collect in person (post is too risky I think) and would hope you knock off another bit to take account of my travel costs. I just want a short time to think about it as it would be a big investment for me. I originally only wated two as future presents for my two kids (18th birthday maybe?).

What's the boo-boo in the price? I haven'y even had time to do the calculations yet! But at least recalculate and give me 10 minutes to make a decision on the lot?
#34
Thanks for that Scribbles

I made a balls up with the price of the millenium set liddle, £450 was less than I paid for it. The price was supposed to be £550 for that. So the £1225 is wrong. I'll have to withdraw the millenium set from sale atm, for that reason. Let me check prices online, ok?

Yes, please do. That's also why I was suggesting you don't feel pressured into an early sale. Mistakes can happen and you can undervalue things. Rangermastiffs offer will still be there when you get back with your revised listing. And I'll still be here too
#37
The prices are fine for the sovs, £160 each plus £3 p+p. 01, 02 and 03 available. But do the maths, £160 for a sov, £95 for a half sov the £2 coin has to be worth near £300 at todays rates. Sorry, really sorry. I'm gonna shout palpible error on the 2000 set and withdraw it for that reason. When I have a price we can barter :)

Ok, fair enough. But what is happening in the meantime. Is the full set still up for sale or do you feel the need to accept the offer for the two coins above in advance of your reevaluation..?

Don't worry, you have first refusal on the remaining sovs and the millenium when I can price it correctly. Don't worry, I have more coins to list later. You will not be dissapointed, your kids 18th bday nest egg is still possible

Sorry, but I don't understand. I was interested in either the two early coins alone or those two coins along with the rest of the set if I couldn't get them alone. But you seem to have jumped the gun by accpeting the first offer for the two coins without waiting to see what the other options are. The only reason I didn't reply immediately was I wanted to think about it a bit more. So just to clarify, you will not accept an offer on the full set because of your 'bird in the hand' idea, even though the bird will still be there after I've made my offer?
