I am selling a boxed complete as new 60GB PAL PS3 console. Probably only played for 10 hours in total due to 2 kids under 2 taking up to much of my time and I keep buying games that I never play (all have already been sold on ebay).

It was originally purchased in argos at the end of Nov 07 and comes with a 3 year argos breakdown warranty which expires 2010 (I was told at the time that if it breaks they would replace it with a 40gb and ps2 due to lack of backward compatibility in new consoles).

All receipts are included and the ps3 is complete with all original accessories and manuals etc.

Pictures will be uploaded after I take them tonight.

Please only post if you are GENUINELY interested in the item and please keep all questions to the thread and not pm.

These I quiet rare now especially with the warranty which is fully transferable. Will be put on ebay tomorrow evening but thought I would offer it here first.

Sorry mate £400 is a fair price, I will probably get £450+ on ebay but thought I would see if anyone wanted it here first. CEX sell really tatty and abusd ones for £375 without the extra warranty.

lol, I 1st had a 360, then got a wii then sold that due to lack of good titles at the time, then got a 360 again sold that to get a ps3 mainly due to avchd compatibility, now selling that and will probably get a wii because the wife is interested in wii fit.

IMO, the ps3 wipes the floor with both consoles but the games are alot more intense and need alot more time to play and get into. The wii you can just have a quick 30minute play if you want

I asked because I searched and couldn't find any 2nd hand PS3's with no extra's for £450+, Plenty for £300 - £350 though.

You were the one that brought Ebay prices into your thread, so I wanted some verification of your claim. :)

Wouldn't you class the warranty (which you can't go and buy like GTA) as an extra. I think other people havein this thread have verified my claim :whistling:

i think your price is cool, shame i've got a 60gb
#15
Not really because you'll only get a 40GB anyway, and a PS2 which won't be worth anything if the PS3 breaks in the third year.

The Sale Of Goods Act would cover anyone buying a PS3 new, so the fact that you paid for a warranty that has no or little value is not really a bargaining chip. Do you have written proof that they will supply a PS3 & and a PS2 if it breaks down?

Like I said I don't want heresay claims of members who say it's a good price, but not offering you the money, but you to provide item numbers for 2nd hand PS3's reaching £450+ on Ebay. :)

Cover starts immediately, you have up to 45 days to change your mind and receive a full refund provided no claim has been made. You can cancel your policy any time after 45 days and receive a pro-rata refund by contacting Allianz.

Refer to the terms and conditions available on-line or in the in-store leaflet to understand where exclusions and restrictions apply. For in-store purchases your receipt and leaflet form your certificate of insurance and for on-line or Argos Direct purchases, you will be sent your Certificate of Insurance direct within 2-4 weeks of purchase.

Although I could break it now and get £350 in argos vouchers.

Ebay links don't work, that's why I asked for item numbers.

You are correct, it's:

I've already phoned them and they have told me that it can be transfered, they said they have no problem transfering once as many items are bought as gifts. They did say they probably wouldn't transfer more than once.

I can't believe how much time your spending on something that your not even interested in lol..... also instead of reading the T&C's you could have pulled the ebay number from the link:

PS3s go for around 300 quid here, 60gb! You are overpricing it, on Ebay, everything goes for higher than on here! I reckon 320-350 is the fairest price, regardless of warranty, since it probably wont break...
