Did it have a white tape sealing the box with "NYK LOGISTICS" on by any chance?

No don't think so

Don't really know what it means but It's the official PS3 DS3 controller though.

Cheers

Postage is only £1.04 second class if when wrapped it still comes in as
a large letter. If it "strays" over to a Packet it's still £1.85!
I have the money in Paypal so if you do not want to accept paypal then I am out?
If that is the case good luck with the sale.....

The controller is still in its original packeage when arrived that's why it's pretty big and in fact it is a box not a packet. Also you've asked for proof of postage which means "signed for" which costs £3 or bit more ( check RM website). Anyway I'm just trying to say that I didn't lie about the postage which you seemed to acuse me for. Thank you for your interest anyway.

I did not acuse you of lying or anything just getting it a liitle muddled perhaps as
I asked for proof of postage which means you obtain a proof of postage certificate
which is free of charge, this insures the item for £35 I think and costs nothing.
Signed for is for proof of DELIVERY and yes it costs an extra 75p.

("100 times the cost of a first class stamp")

Pardon my interruption... but before you two fall out over a simple confusion...

Yes, Recorded (Signed For) Delivery & a Proof of Postage Certificate are two different options; the latter of which is free.

Neither stops the item being lost (stolen), nor damaged in transit, but with the first choice (Signed For) you should be able to prove that the item was delivered (and a signature of whom it was delivered to). The second option (Certification) is proof the item was despatched at a Post Office counter; not that it was delivered (at all).

Just to add to Fanpages description. What the advantages are for the buyer/seller:

Recorded (signed for) Delivery:

Buyer: Nothing

Seller: Means that they are covered from the buyer receiving the item and claiming it wasn't delivered in order to get both the item and a refund.

Proof of Postage:

Buyer: Ensures that the Seller has indeed posted something to your address.

Seller: Means they can claim back the amount lost should the item go missing.

Thank you all for your replys. Having check the RM website again I'd like to confirm the postage for the item will be £2.24 or £2.70 as Im not really sure about the weight. Anyway Simon, if you can do BT then it's yours for £28.

Cheers.
