Where are you??
Any takers ?
I don't really understand 'Laboratory (shower test: 200 l/hr/m²!) and field tested'.

Everything else i've seen has been measured in HH, so do you have any idea what HH this would be? Just so I can compare it, I may be interested.
"The waterproofing of Quechua tents is checked by a full tent shower of 200l of water/hr/m². The water column test (=mm schmerber) is quite well known but is not a good indicator for measuring tent waterproofing, only for fabric. Of course, the fabric needs to be waterproof (and is from 1,000mm!), but the tent must be designed and developed to keep water out of seams, flaps, openings, zips etc. This is tested in a lab tent shower"

To give an example we stayed in the lakes last sept one of the wettest weekends ever, this tent did not let in a single drop.

We are just getting a bigger tent as our 4 year old is now keen to come with us.:-D
Alright, I could be interested but i'll get in touch over the next few days if it hasn't gone to let you know. Just need to find out if I already have a tent I can lend.
If still going I want it and will pay by paypal but would need you to send it (to Cornwall).
