Please only post if you are interested in the item or can post a link to the same item available for new (mk2 version), otherwise report your concerns if they still exist.

The price set can stand as it's deemed to be a collectable, 32yrs inflation over cost price means we don't have to worry too much about the price. If far too high, it won't sell and will quickly disappear.

could you please clarify this ruling at what age can we sell items above the RRP and who determines if its collectable

what a rip off
you would have to be mad to buy a pile of old junk for 300 big ones
300 i would have to be in 100% new con

There is no set period, however if an item is 'rare' and no longer available for sale (and has not been for some considerable period), then mod discretion will be applied. We will not allow clear cut cases of profiteering.

will this rule be added to the rule set and do we have to message you with what we are selling and ask if its ok to list the said item

I see these go for around and above this price quite regularly, private collectors pay a lot for these.

Robertkay - I imagine you would consider an old dusty vase isnt worth anything, until you do your research and discover that rare collectablles are worth quite a lot to the right person. Idiot.

yes with all parts intact! i was interested in this but have pulled as it will cost more to buy all the parts and put it together basically.

If this is a collectable, I personally don't think it should be sold on here especially for the amount that the OP is asking, inflation or not.

I have collectable vinyl records that cost me £3 each years ago and are not available now which fetch £100+ on auction sites, but have never listed them on here for the fear of either having them deleted or worse getting blasted by a mod for daring to offer them for sale.

I'm sorry but this item, in my mind shouldn't be sold on here and should be on an auction site. People that frequent this site are after bargains and not looking for something of this nature and price. Specialist objects like this have got to be sold elsewhere, next we'll see people selling antiques!!!

Guys as i said on previous replys im not out to be greedy or make lots of money on this ..im not a dealer of this stuff ...we have had a clearout while trying to make space for our new addition my partner has had this for years i had a quick look on the internet for rough prices chose £300 as thats what we considered a bargain may not be to everyones taste but someone looking for one of these may think its a good deal !!!!
i did also say we would be open to sensible offers .......If the mods feel this is not acceptable please remove as we didnt realise it would be such a problem..... god some people do like to get their pants in a twist !
hope no one is offended by this listing ...that was not our intention !

Maria I dont think you have done anything wrong at all!

Its pathetic how precious people get about things. I mean for gods sake, all you are trying to do is sell something!!

Selling things on here is getting so hard with such ****** retentive mods/members.

Well said god guys n gals grow up. if your not interested don't post. if the asking price is too much it won't sell simple as that.

+1

Btw why don't you try sell it on a auction site?

I'm sure this would fly on ebay. I would love to get my hands on an original chopper always wanted one but my mum bought me a grifter.

I requested no further comments at post #13, that was applicable to all unless making offers or asking a question directly related to the OP and sale.

This has been ignored and turned into a misc type conversation thread. I'll deal with the issues.

OP's should report, not retaliate or engage in 'thread spoils'.

Thread closed. No relisting until 7 full days have elapsed.
