Bizarre that someone would give them to CEX as they're in good nick. I'll throw an offer of £70? Second class signed would be fine.

Argh been told I'm not allowed to spend money on something I don't need (apparently) after taking advantage of the Nike deal today. Apologies for wasting your time.

I think SanDisk offer 5 year warranty on enterprise as long as one has the proof of purchase. Whether or not a CEX receipt counts is another issue :)

I want to buy it but my main concern is the cooling and fan noise. Did you happen to test idle temps and load?

hello, cooling for this case isn't as restrictive as you might think. using the Noctua CPU fan I have in this listing I got idle temps of around 40 with 100% stress testing hitting around 65.

for the GPU it's best to use an blower style like the 1060 in this listing also. the two noctua fans mounted next to it are set to pull cold air into the cards main exhaust which is then blown out the back of case, it never really gets hot enough for the GPUs fan to ram up keeping it quiet. (You'll need to set an appropriate fan curve obviously)

my set up was no louder than an Xbox under load and almost silent idle

the gpu was 30 idle and around 65 under load.

If you use a twin fan style card you're just going to be blowing hot air around inside the case and that's when you'll start seeing high temps. Blower only with this case !

unfortunately I don't have a working motherboard or USB adapter for the M.2 drive to run tests on. it was used as my main boot drive though without issues.

model number is MZ-NLF1280

looking at it now, it might even be a Samsung drive !

An update with the drives, As I bought this drive in store and don't have the receipt anymore (it was ages ago now)

Returns/warranty replacements will have to be done using my CeX membership details (all transactions are saved to account)

Unfortunately they said with anyone returning items that aren't the original purchaser (me), It's completely at the managers discretion if they allow the replacement or refund (should the drive break down in future)

I'll still try and get a copy if they will let me. But just so it's clear that nothing is guaranteed.

Just flip the two case fans next to the GPU to vent the hot air out of the case and it should be fine. the 1050 doesn't run very hot.
