Hi folks. I've just literally received this refurbished PS3 console from Sony (it arrived this afternoon) as a replacement for my old console. I have decided to buy a slim instead, so this console is now surplus to requirements.

As a Sony refurb, it apparently has a brand new Blu-Ray drive/laser and HD. I have powered it up to test that it is working, but beyond that it has never been used. The plastic covering is still in place that it arrived with.

I have now safely packed it up in the original PS3 box, along with the original power cable, Sixaxis controller, AV cable, SCART block, USB cable and instruction manual (all as pictured).

Price is not fixed in stone, so feel free to make (sensible) offers.
Shipping/Payment:
I would prefer this to be collected, with cash paid on collection.

I can post by courier if required. This will cost £15, and will be via DHL next working day (including appropriate insurance). In this instance, I can take payment by Paypal Gift or Bank Transfer.
Location:
Marlborough/Swindon area

Any swaps/trades?

I forgot to mention that I have cleaned up the Sixaxis, as you can see.

Oh, and neither the wooden ducks, nor the half of a sleeping dog are included in the sale ;)

Hey - no thanks, I'm after some cash for this, to help fund my slim purchase.

£100 is my limit im afraid as it will cost £20 in fuel to collect, if this is not acceptable i understand. Thank you

Hi fc, would you be willing to sell the console on its own? dont need the controller/ cables so may be able to sell them on, if so what price wise would you be thinking?

No problem thank you, i understand you want more, just unfortunate the timing is wrong for me as i have just paid for my holiday this week so money is stretched, otherwise i would have gladly paid the asking price.

Am pretty sure you will get a sale soon enough, indeed i cant believe there hasn't been more interest.

Hi Peterdj41. Thanks for your interest. I would rather sell it as one piece, to save any extra hassle, if possible. I suppose I could sell the Sixaxis on its own, but the cables won't really be worth anything seperately.

If push came to shove, I guess I could let the console go for £110 on its own, and sell the controller seperately.

Cheers wallacejbj. I have been surprised by the lack of interest on here, but there you go.

Thanks for the offer albrocars. I have actually decided to keep the PS3 for the moment, having had a week to deliberate about it - I am experimenting with using it as a Blu-Ray player/media streamer for the bedroom.
