This Playstation console is repackaged into an old 40GB Playstation 3 packaging. This packaging is only used for ease of transport.

So is the warranty with you?
    C0C0
It is from my electronic supplier. I will provide a receipt upon the sale transaction, which is when the warranty commences. This receipt will also state the warranty.

I read this as "This item does not come with a warranty , but as the hard disk and blu ray player parts are new they will have ths standard warranty from the supplier". In the event of an issue you would need to dismantle the PS3 to remove the blu ray \ hard disk and then send the part back to the supplier. Then refit the working part when returned.

The most expensive part of this is the ps3 "shell and accesories" which arent covered.

If the hard drive or lens gets damaged/faulty then the warranty covers it. You should not removed them, you should simply send the WHOLE ps3 to us and we'll fix it to Sony's refurbished standards. Removing the items would void your warranty (as stated above).

Accessories are mainly damaged due to consumers mistreating them rather than becoming faulty so we never put them under warranty. Also, the controller pad is pre-owned and not brand new so we dont take take sole responsibility. We just purchase them directly from Sony's suppliers.

The shell is in very good condition. Again, if you yourself scratch it, it will not effect the purpose of the machine so does not come under warranty.

Hi, what do you mean by that statement. Can you elaborate a little further please ?

In addition, do you have any feedback elsewhere, e.g. ebay id or another trading forum ?

Disclosing this may assist you in a sale. Thanks.

Ah ok, sorry for my misunderstanding. If I did have an issue and returned it and it turned out not to be either of those 2 parts at fault, what would happen? Would I be charged or would the item just be returned?

surely the op is a business if they have an electronic supplier who lets the op state when the warranty begins?
selling in 2 places at the same time is banned as well

I was thinking it was bought by you from a repair shop or similar, so that the warranty would be with a company/business.
I'm not interested anymore as you said you'll be fixing it and no offense but got no guarantees that you will be around or honor your word at a later date.
    Many thanks.

My business deals in electronics (wholesale) but when we get odd refurbishments / little stock left, I sell online. I wish not to disclose my electronic supplier for obvious business reasons. My ebay username is AtmosphereLTD and I have listed the same item on there - link. I've started the bidding at £199 for a 7 day listing. Hope that helps

You can't list the items you are selling here, anywhere else. Did you read the rules?

If this scenario was to occur, which is very unlikely, I would tell you the cost of repair. You can then choose to get it repaired with us at that price or ask for it to be sent back in the same condition.

I thought it was that you are not allowed to self promote but the mod asked for my ebay name since I have no feedback on here. I can remove the link if necessary.

"3 randomly allocated games"! The op is obviously trading as a business & breaking forum rules
