Here for sale I have Seagate FreeAgent XTreme 1TB Hard Drive. I have owned it since early April of this year and it has been functioning great, I don't use it too often and have therefore decided to sell it.

The hard drive has the following interfaces: eSata, 2x FireWire 400 and USB 2.0.

In the package, you will recieve:
- FreeAgent XTreme 1TB Hard Drive
- USB cable
- FireWire cable
- AC Adaptor (With english and european plugs)
- Rubber feet

Please note: I have lost the vertical stand and this will not be included in the package.

I realise I have no feedback here but I do have 82 100% positive feedback on eBay under the account name danmariash.

If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. Thank you!

edit:

Price lowered to £70 delivered special delivery next day from £85

This drive has many more connections on the back, including eSata, hence the price. You could not buy a 1tb hard drive for ~50 pounds with eSata. This hard drive originally cost upwards of £100. Nevertheless, I am willing to make deals with anybody who is interested.

No thank you, if I was to trade it would only be for a 2.5" external hard drive and it would have to be about 500gb (looking for more portability).

Good point about the eSata and Firewire, ideally better for Mac

And I got a 500Gb 2.5" WD new, and I can do straight swap?

It might not have taken off in your opinion but since this is a 1TB desktop drive, eSata helps a lot because file transfer is just so much faster. If you feel this isn't something your after then thats ok but that does not apply to everyone and drives with eSata are worth more.

Firewire did take off as well, not sure what they're on about, go look what all the professional hardware uses then get back to us.

Ask most people and they have heard of USB, then ask them if they have heard of Firewire and see the response.
This is aimed at the general population. Hence, Firewire never, really, took off.

i get what all of you are saying, i'd like an eSata drive, wont use firewire, but my offer stands, if it's too low then no worries, good luck with your sale, and:

Yeah you'd have a deal there, but can you show me a picture first?
#20
Yes, i am happy for the deal, but as you have no feedback so I would require you to post first and then I will post mine immediately after receiving yours.

I have loads of feedbacks on here
#21
I am happy to do that, but just want to see photos of yours first.

Ok, can I do that later on tonight or tomorrow morning ? As just want to relax after the whole day out. By the way where about r u ?
#23
Yeah, post office is closed until tuesday anyway isn't it? So even if a deal is done now then I won't be able to send my hard drive until tuesday. Unless you could advise me otherwise? Basically yes... relax!

I'm in Woking, Surrey. Your in Manchester aren't you? Too far away

I just have one quick question to ask, does your seagate come boxed with all the cables?

Also I'd just like to remind you that my hard drive does not come with the little vertical stand as I have lost this, and no eSata cable because the hard drive never came with one.

If everything is ok with that then we have a deal and I will post on tuesday (because that is when the post office will open again) and we can take this to pm.

Thanks!

Hi

My HDD only came with a USB cable to connect it. And I don't really care about the stand as long as it is working properly. And all I will use is Firewire at most.

And yes, we have a deal, I will send the HDD on Wednesday when i received your as discussed.

Delivery would cost me £8.65 and I was looking to get as near £60 after delivery as possible. Can you meet me halfway at £65 and then we've got a deal?
#30
ok, well I'd do 65 PPG, if you send first and i pay upon delivery?

Feel free to check my feedback, done this many a time with much higher priced items.
