Hello people

Well the ps3 was a sony replacement as it got the yellow light so they replaced it with a refurb and its in minty mint condition. Comes with metal gear solid 1 and a Dualshock 3 pad(usually come with the normal six axis). Also a genuine sony bluetooth remote. The ps3 does not come boxed nor with manuels but i can try having a look. Reason for getting rid of it is mainly due to me using my xbox 360 for gaming and hi def movies do not appeal to me and you can probably tell by my feedback got rid of other one on here and the trade went smoothly. If the Tvs better i can include GTA IV and PES 2009.

Im looking for a HD LCD t.v pref 26" onwards but nothing bigger than a 32". Also would prefer a good make such as samsung, lg , sony. toshiba etc.

Price £350. Not for sale though.(dont even say oh its overpriced)

Due to the nature of the TV i would want the trade to be done in person.

Thanks for looking and if theres any questions dont hesitate to ask.

NO BOX THOUGH SORRY!!!!

By any chance would you consider a 15" Polaroid HDTV a Trade for a Playstation 3 40GB Model? Always wanted a 60GB for Backwards Capabilities? Worth a shot to throw it out there

It's a 60gb version though, they don't make these any more mate.
As for any difference, yeah, they are the only PS3's capable of running PS2 software and have extra ports on the console (USB x 4, card readers etc).

Yes the 60GB is Backwards Compatible meaning it can play Playstation 2 Games aswell as PS1 & PS3 Games, Also features 4 USB Ports instead of Just 2 on the Standard 40GB & 80GB Consoles. Also a Mint Condition One with no Scratches and a fresher laser is harder to come by. Aswell as Memory Card Ports.

The 60gb has more usb ports, card reader and ps2 compatibility.

Which shop as i'm after a PS3 with a few games for under the £300 mark

Also OP dont suppose you would be interested in a trade for a 22" technika lcd tv/dvd/freeview tv HD ready would you ? still have the reciept only 2 months old

This isn't an offer at this stage, because I would essentially be getting the PS3 for someone else as a present and have to check that no one else is doing the same, but I have a Viewsonic 32" HD Ready TV that I have been considering upgrading.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ViewSonic-32-Widescreen-Ready-LCD/dp/B000CGSOSC

Link to it there. Prices are coming up at around the £450 mark new through Google. It was bought in February 2007 when it was, if memory serves, around the £600 mark (which at the time was a budget option). It's actually a cracking television for the price, and is in excellent condition. I actually use it to play my Xbox 360 on at the moment. Would that be something that would interest you?

I just put the price for the rules

Any marks you see on the ps3 are fingerpints or dust marks.

Your offering both?

Yup :) i've got a 250GB HDD Fitted in mine so it would be simply taking that out of the deal and swapping over the HDD's if thats not too confusing lol, How old is the 60GB? Is there any Marks or Scratches on it at all? Piano Black so hard to keep from them I know lol, My TV is 1 Month Old and the PS3 is One Year Old. It's in great condition no major scratches just a few small markings/faint scratch or two. Can Take pics of both if interested? Also where are you located?

Manchester, though I tend to be in Chester for at least part of most weekends if that helps. I will check tonight whether this is viable or not.

Unsure where we would stand on the extra games, because to be perfectly honest I haven't looked in to the second hand prices of this television at all. It is in excellent condition though.

Well 2nd hand tvs go for around the same price. Instead of MGS1 the ps1 game. Ill throw in motorstorm a good ps3 racing game.

Il be honest the ps3s probably worth around 250 alone and tvs 32" second can be had for around that.

Bad news unfortunately MarzBarz; turns out he has already been bought a PS3, and through a quite extraordinary coincidence he has been bought a second hand 60GB model as well (which to be fair is what I advised for the backwards compatibility, though I didn't actually expect anybody in the family to listen). So looks like a non starter for this deal. Shame, if my current PS3 wasn't already 60GB I would have had that off you.

Best of luck with the trade

Yes, at launch and before price drops. As has been stated the 60GB model does not have a RRP anymore because it is not made anymore. Its price is dictated by demand in the second hand market now. The 80GB PS3 now has an RRP of £299.99, so it hardly seems proportionate to slap the old £425 RRP on a 60GB PS3 nowadays.

well cex will sell you a 60gb for £289 or thereabouts and it will no doubt be covered in those swirl marks and scratches. So £350 for one which is most likely in a very very clean condition is fair if you ask me

I wasn't suggesting a fair price. I was just point out that the RRP is not longer a relevant benchmark. The 60GB PS3 has now gone the way of, to give one example, retro games. The price is dictated by demand. The RRP of old retro games is no longer relevant in valuing them, and in my opinion the same applies to the PS3 for the same reason (i.e. you cannot buy them new anymore).

Thanks for pointing me to this. Fill me in on the age of the console. It's a refurb returned by Sony recently? Does that give it any guarantee?

Well gamestation. No guarantee but you can put continuous play on it if you liked. But you get more of a guarantee then the rest as since its a refurb its a new laser , drive etc and its had roughly 2 hours usage. Reason for sale is dont play it much as i use my 360 and i need money. Plus normal 60gb consoles will come with a normal controller but this comes with a dual shock 3 pad with vibration. Condition wise its mint i cant see any scratches may have the odd ones but i cant see any on it

It will come as the console, controller, charging cable, hdmi lead and motorstom, also can include a ps2 to ps3 adaptor(will confirm when this is found but im 100% sure i have it).
