Not really sure about the price on this, could be way off & I cannot find anything to compare it too.

This is the much sought after Sony Vaio TX1 - cost £1700 four years ago & has only had light useage as a second laptop.

I appreciate that most modern netbooks are much cheaper but in fairness this is a different class to the ones available today.

Battery is in excellent condition & holds a good charge. Hardly ever used off mains but tried battery last night and worked for 4+ hours.

Screen has no blemishes/dead pixels.

All in all I would say this is in near mint condition.

Windows XP Professional

1.10GHz Processor Intel Pentium M

1GB of RAM

50GB HDD

DVD-RW built in

Very compact and light

Still have original box & everything else that came in the box, recovery discs etc.

Will post photo's if required, open to offers. Thanks.
Shipping/Payment:
Available for collection from West Yorkshire or will send via courier (not included in price).

Payment options to be discussed, would prefer cash on collection as not got much feedback. Not prepared to post first due to the value. Would consider personal delivery within a 50 mile radius.

Thanks it's an awesome looking computer. Will get some pics up within the next few hours. There is one advertised on an auction site at the moment for £299, it has a cracked screen & rubbish battery life too!

Are you sure that's a TX1HP? It looks more like a TX1XP as I don't remember the TX1HP's coming in that finish but I may well be wrong as it's a while ago when I was looking into them (I have a TX1HP/W)

I can't tell from the pictures but you should be able to read the name from the bottom right of the TFT bezel, TX1XP's came with better spec I think - 1GB of memory (same 512MB ram on the main board, one 512MB in the expansion slot whereas TX1HP's only had the 512MB chip on board and the expansion slot empty) and the Pentium-m 1.2Ghz rather than 1.1ghz. Same chassis though and the spec differences are minor.
