I've just upgraded my sons PC with some more DDR2 and now I have these two dimms available. I have an oldish P4 that could do with some DDR (first generation, not DDR2) so looking to swap these if possible.

They are a matched pair, been running fine in my lads PC for about a year (never overclocked etc.) I also ran a memtest86 thorough test today and all passed.

Hi, thanks for replying, I was hoping to match size for size if possible but I will see how this thread goes for a while. I've only got 2 dimm slots in the P4 so would like to get as much ram in them as I can.

Got 2 x Hynix 512mb DDR 400 mhz pc 3200u-300330 CL3

Would do a straight swap if you want?

Can post in the morning, let me know.
