From a working PC, taken apart by me just for fun and then never reassembled. Forgotten about until found in the cupboard!

It has an Intel CPU on the board but I can't remember which one - has some numbers written on it which might mean something to you, so please ask for info if interested.

Hopefully this a bargain to somebody who can make use of it. Sold as is with no guarantees (and no screws - don't know where I put them!).

Also have a 250W 20-Pin ATX PSU Power Supply FSP250-60GTV (LN).
- Liddle ol' me

Removing the CPU from sale. I'm also removing the PSU as it too heavy to make it worth sending. So it is the Mobo alone now, sent by 2nd class recorded delivery for £11.50
- Liddle ol' me
Shipping/Payment:
£15 paypal gift

Price does not include PSU and HDD trade preferred.

thats a Hewlett Packard Mobo, make sure you can get the drivers for it first.

Youll need to remove the processor fan to see the processor.

If it looks like this then it is an ASUS:

nope the one in the big black square with the white square with holes for pins it will be on top of that
#24
The CPU will either be in the socket or the socket will be empty mate like Tim pointed out.
#25
nice edit timothy!
#26
cpu is in the white slot pictured above (the one with the dots) under the huge heatsink and fan.
#27
Thanks guys - the heatsink and fan (hehe!) is fitted over the top of the cpu in that case...

yeah, socket 478 (is this an episode of Star Wars?)

i need to get a pair of pliars or something (a # 325 point 7) - anyway, got to collect my daughter from gym first, so I'm afraid you'll all have to be left in limbo for a liddle longer :prop:

p.s. pins of some description - photo on return

#37
Interest withdrawn sorry
#38
Sorry guys, before I sort out who this is going to - I think I might go for a HDD trade actually - how do I remove this heatsink/fan to check cpu? It has four of these little white plastic bits (pins?) on the bottom side of the board surrounded by black plastic covers. Do I pull the, push them or something else? lol

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2973/cimg0285z.jpg
#39
Have a look on the top of the board at the corners of the fan and you should see some black plastic screw type things. Turn them in the direction of the arrow and they should pop out.
#40
Thanks - think I've worked it out, just need a pair of pliars to press those bits of plastic together to release the clips.

Off to the cellar...
