I bought this machine a week or so ago from here for £70 delivered to be used as a 24/7 torrent box. I bought a 500GB Samsung SATA II Hard Drive for £45, and can include a Belkin B/G USB wireless adaptor too. It has been rock solid but I soon found out that I need more then 500GB of storage space for what I am doing with it. So I am upgrading to a bigger setup.

The spec is as follows....

Black Morex Cubid 3688 ITX Case with 60w external power pack
VIA EPIA LN10000EG motherboard with embedded VIA C7 processor
1GB Kingston DDR 2 RAM
500Gb Samsung 2.5" Sata HDD
Samsung Slim Line IDE DVD RW
B/G/N USB Wifi Adaptor
Official XP License

Also comes with a mini PS/2 keyboard and a mini USB optical mouse, as well as a stand.

Pics below, coke can for scale reasons.

Looking for £110 delivered or will trade for the following:

piece of advice jsut buy a seedbox i have some cheap ones that i use. Also you get so much higher speeds for uplaoding mine does about 2mbps and higher.
was looking into that any recommendations?
bump 1 - will listen to offers of cash or trade
forgive my ignorance mate, not to clued up with these. What speed, in terms of 1ghz etc, is the processor and is that an ethernet port on the back ? Could i connect this to my lcd and just use it as a pc. Mt main thinking though is i could use it for my nzb downloads and watch my movies through it.

Any interest in a 360 elite at all ?

go on FibreNetworks.Org. I dont know if u hav a hdme.org account but they have special offer for members. Fast speeds and reliable. Plaease leave some rep. :p
markn0_1 - Its a C7 1Ghz processor which is the rough equavilent to a Celeron of similar speed, so its not gonna run Crysis at full pelt, but is fine for downloading and watching movies on (although HD movies may be a problem). If you are just downloading AVI's etc it will be fine. It has an ethernet on the back (I am currently using it to transfer my torrents from the Mini ITX to my iMac, so I can confirm it is working fine. As for just connecting up and going, thats exactly what I have done, I have connected it to my LCDTV via VGA and have taken the audio to the TV too and use the LCDTV as a normal monitor as well as a display for the movies I have obtained from various internet sources.
Would you sell without the HDD, keyboard + mouse... If so I'll take for £70.
Akaii - I'd like £100 delivered if I can get it. The extra £10 will cover the postage and leave me with £90 after everything. If you can do £100 then its yours.
Any chance you'd sell it without the HDD for £70 then?
Akaii - Again, no use for the HDD myself if I was to keep it, so will prefer to sell it with the computer.
I have this mate ....
120 gb elite, controller etc etc ( no headset as it broke and official vga in place of component).
forza 3
fifa 10
quick charge kit with black battery pack
3rd party battery pack
memory card

360 is Jasper chipset mfr date 2009-05-12

Im just trying to decide if i would use the mini, i currently stream my stuff to the 360 but im thinking the mini comp may give me a more permanent and wired solution for my streaming and burning. Will it go wireless with the adapter you mentioned mate ? Im also thinking it may be suitable for my sons room. Also whats it like for internet browsing and does the xp come with a back up disk etc incase i wanted to do a fresh install.

mark0_1 - I use it wirelessly to download torrents and nzb, so that not a problem and use Nero 7 (IMHO the best version they made) to burn what I download if I need it elsewhere. If you were to go with it, what deal would you be offering?
Obviously my elite is worth a little more as there are games included. perhaps we could agree a deal. If it had a wireless keyboard it would be a straight trade. I will need a wireless mouse and keyboard unless the cables are really long :-D. What about the xp back up disk etc mate ?? Do you just plug the wireless dongle in and it picks up your network. Again, sorry about all the questions.

markn0_1 - Unfortunately the keyboard and mouse are wired, and I am limited with the funds I have. How much were you thinking of money wise? The XP License is official, and I will include the COA sticker with the mahcine, the backup disc will be just that, a backup disc.

The dongle is just like a normal USB PC dongle, it will work on B and G networks and needs to be setup in XP like any other dongle. I will provide the drivers for this, or failing that, send the machine out fully configured with a bare XP installed along with the wireless driver.
Maybe £30-£40 mate. I fresh install of xp with the dongle would be fine mate. Would you be including a vga cable, psu etc.
markn0_1 - I appreciate your valuation, and only wish I had a wireless setup for this machine, but £30 - £40 is more than I physically have available. Being honest, the maximum I have to use to bump this up with is £20. If we cannot make a deal then I will have to look at Akai's offer of a cash sale....
My son will be in around 7-8 0'clock mate. I will have a word with him and see what he thinks, if he wants it then £20 will be fine. Obviously if you get a better offer in the meantime that is fine also.

Is it ok if i get back to you in an hour or two ??
markn0_1 - Yes thats fine. Will be around all evening so let me know when you get a chance.
will do mate.
My son isnt to botherd about it mate, he's gonna stick with his netbook. So i will leave it thanks mate.
markn_01 - Thanks for letting me know

Akaii - Would you stretch to £95 delivered?
will this play mkv h264?
zaheer2003 - I have never played it on there so could not say. I have had a look over the net but cannot find out if it does successfully or not, sorry
Bump for the morning crowd.
4th and final bump - Will take £70 without the HDD as I have found a use for it, or £100 all in :)
where abouts are you. If your north west based I may be interested !
TomT - I am in East London, but the prices do include fully insured delivery.
Si what are you looking for in trades?
Adam, I'd prefer the cash to be honest, but if not then a USB HDD would be good as would a digital camera, a large SD card, erm....a black gamecube controller... or a combination of those...:)
Taking elsewhere
