come on guys....
it's cuch a cool box :)
and the price is negotiable...
u do realise these boxes remain the property of your cable company ?
Not unless your agreement is finished-have read the agreement couple days ago, so I am the owner. Thanks though.
Disagree with that I'm afraid, I used to work for telewest as an engineer before jumping ship to a proper comms company.
From the VM website
"TV: TV packs currently exclude some Teletext services. Once purchased all chargeable on demand content must be viewed within 24 hours. V and V+ boxes remain the property of Virgin Media." I know you don't have a V or V+ box for sale. However you only lease the box from VM/Telewest/NTL etc. With sky you own the box, anything goes wrong after the 1st year and it's your problem. VM will always look after your box as you rent it.
Yeah, my mate left Telewest and 5 months later they came round to pick up the box.

I think its £200 fine if you fail to give em the box back if they ask etc, not sure though..
Can someone please 'rent' me their V+ 8300HD box... I've got one but it's NTL and I'm in a Telewest area.. apparently no good to me :(
ehhh, what can I say... :)
It's been now like a year since Telewest last spoke to me... If anyone is interested, I'll happily sell it....and will deal with Telewest later, if have to.
Thanks for all the info guys!
