putting this here incase anyone is interested.

I have for sale a brand new (bought today, had a credit note to spend) 8gb iPhone, UK version, all still wrapped only opened the box to unlock to all networks (software unlock, no sim cutting)
will work on any network (other than 3)
comes with receipt and 12 month apple warranty

looking for £330 inc special delivery via BT (or paypal & Fees)

cex will give me £318 for it, but they will then rob some poor b*****d for £425 for it and I'd have to hang around while they "have the cash in"

Not looking for offers or trades.
please only post if you have genuine questions or interest.
thanks.

software unlock, as long as you don't brick it warranty is still good.

cant you take it back if bought today?

yup, if I wanted to get store credit and a 10% re-stocking fee

if bought with a o2 contract you have a 7 day cooling off period surely for a full refund

it doesn't work like that, you buy the phone as a regular purchase and select your contract at home later.
plus the re-sale value on these is better than the return price.

right.can you tell i dont have one. so do they work on other networks now.

They are sold locked to o2, but with some hacking it can be done.
this one can be used with any sim (except for the "3" network)

(8) You must not list items for sale at higher than the recommended retail price. The marker of RRP will be determined by cross indexing with Amazon for example.

but there is no RRP for an unlocked iPhone in the UK,
they have been listed here multiple times with higher values than mine.
I did a search just to make sure.

unlocked iPhones ARE legally sold in france at an RRP of 749 Euro which is over £500.
they are alos sold unlocke din germany by t-mobile for a whopping 999 Euro which is over £740

i thought they sold here for a RRP of £269
:?

Those are locked to the o2 network.

In the US they are locked to AT&T
In France they are either Orange or Unlocked
in Germany they are T-Mobile or Unlocked

unlocked phones, where sold are sold at a higher price premium

it is yes, it's legal but complicated so the value of the phone grows. :)

So you have bought a iphone for £269 and the same day selling it for £330 making £61 profit minus poatage and paypal fees and cex will give you £318 for it and they are robbing *******s, what does that make you?

actually, I'm charging for paypal fees too ;)

you can leave now.

oooooh, put your claws away guys.. lol

Fact is thats business for you, the same can be said for people that sell pandora batteries for PSP's for £30!

The software to make a pandora battery is free, a battery and memory card can be bought for less than a fiver, the seller makes the pandora then sells it on for £30, not the seller at fault, just the buyer for not being informed on how to do it themselves!

my two pence:whistling:

I know you are charging paypal fees, I put that in my question. Can YOU not read!

...no.
you said
"selling it for £330 making £61 profit minus poatage and paypal fees"
which indicates that out of the £61 profit, Postage must be removed (which it would as I have included postage) and Paypal fees must be removed...but they won't as I have clearly stated in "E-n-g-l-i-s-h" that paypal fees are chargeable on TOP of my Humongous profiteering scam of selling my iPhone.

you'd be hard pressed to find a pre-unlocked iPhone int his condition for less than I am charging...hell, go to CeX, the sell them for only £425.00

p.s. I'm not 100% certain, but I'm almost sure "can YOU not read!" is not the best grammatical choice for your statement....which was a question, and would require a question mark.

I completely agree.
I'm happy to "overpay" an electrician to save me from electrocuting myself if my lights go out, it's his expertise.

This a pretty decent price for a unlocked iphone I have jut paid £300 for a nearly new US one.
