I have got a Studio Addition as a deal when I bought my new Mac hence I don't need this World Edition as I don't really use the network function anyway

Retail price is 180, on Ebay around 150, Cex sell for 180, I only want 120 GBP.

Link to the spec: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=347

SORRY AS LISTED IN THE WRONG PLACE, THIS IS SUPPOSE FOR SALE/TRADE ONLY

Shipping/Payment:
Local Pick Up available in Manchester, or delivered by Next Day Delivery at £10, insured up to £500 by RoyalMail. I prefer local pick up as the buyer can satisfied with the HDD. Free Delivery if I can sell this HDD at 120.

Yes, it supports Mac OSX 10.5, but you need to download MioNet from WD website. It said in the manual book of the HDD.
It works with my MacBook by just plug in this hard drive to the wireless access point or hub with a normal Cat5 cable and you can see the HDD straight away via Mac Finder.
Thanks

I will offer £90 because of this it makes it more of a hassle for what I want to do.
#5
That's is because if you are using this HDD as a remote server for sharing music and files to other people, such as a P2p network, that's why WD banned. But if you use it for your own purpose as said on the box, such as SHARE OR REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR OWN FILES. It wouldn't be a propblem.

By the way, 90 is too low for this item, I am looking around 110-120.

It's available here for £121.29, so it does 'retail' at less than £180. Although the RRP is probably more like that

Good spotted. I only be able to do it for you at 110, including delivery. Cause I can't afford to loose out.

mate, I am talking about the World Edition, not just a normal 1TB externall HDD. World Edition is top of the range of Western Digital and it supports remote access and network sharing. The item that you show me is only 90 pounds brand new in the shop.
#14
sorry to sound dumb. can you share avi files through the network or will this drm stops sharing?

can you take the drm feature off?
#15
As for as I know I can access to avi movie files remotely from my MacBook in my Lan.

I can put avi files on to the HDD, and then use my MacBook connect wirelessly to the network and I can access the files on the HDD

I think the issue is when you are using the Remote Access, that's when DRM will take place.

anyone ? please give me an offer
Thanks

To be clear, if this is connected to your router with your AVI files (cam corder obviously), you could pick it up through XBMC? If so, may be something worth looking into for most people!

EDIT: Yes you can, sorry for the hi-jack.
