As per the title! I have a white MacBook for sale! It comes with the charger, Apple Remote (bought separately as far as I'm aware), Leopard on the machine and a soft sleve for it. It does not have the box but will be packaged well or collection is welcome!

2.2Ghz
4GB RAM
120GB HDD
SuperDrive
iSight
Airport (Wi-Fi)

£570 delivered, £550 collected.

Collection from Northampton is welcome!

I also have the mini-DVI > VGA adapter, £10 (available with or without the MacBook)

you posted in my thread mate, need to know...

Screen size? is it 13.3.?
How old is it, receipt ?
Warranty left ? or option for me to extend?
Its not boxed but has it got manuals, leads and charger etc, how long does the battery last and the battery report states?
Are you first owner ?

Lastly and more importantly best price for collection the site mac2sell confirms this should be around £470/£480 max so would be looking to offer around £425 cash in your hand on collection....
#4
Yep, there's only a 13.3" MacBook.
Less than a year, still within warranty (16th Jan 2009) and extendable.
It has the charger and a soft case, there are no other leads for it; no manuals (all online) and the battery lasts around four hours - status is "Good".
Second owner, bought it from a friend.

Sorry, but that's simply not true, Mac2Sell:

Your Computer is a
MacBook 13 inch Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20 GHz 4096 / 120 GB / superdrive
The Mac2Sell Quoted Value is :
£ 670

So £425 is not on.

Innocent mistake mate, I put in intel core duo not core 2 duo sorry about that.and it kept defaulting to 256 memory hence my lower price..still don't add up to £480 what i got so must have done something completely wrong lol.

I wouldn't have lied and pointed you to the site now would i? lol ....

Anyway.... so its definately core 2 duo ? Whats your best price then for cash on collection, not worth me offering if its outside my budget so let me know.
#6
Definitely Core2Duo, Core Duos haven't been made for years. You have to put in 2.2Ghz, 4096MB RAM, 120GB HDD and the SuperDrive - comes to £670.

Just make an offer of what you can afford, it also comes with the remote which isn't included when you buy the laptop. Cheers.
#7
ok thanks for the info, think i will pass though as my budget is more in line with what i thought it was worth originally when thinking it was a core duo (lower spec)

Thanks

what gfx is on this?
#9
Intel X3100. The whole thing is great for video editing if that's how you swing.

Is this still going? Whats your best price going to be mate?

Apple just confirmed to me they now have a slightly lower spec white macbook for £599 delivered with full warrnaty etc.

Is there a deal to be made, looking at two others on here too or indeed may go direct from the refurb store if not...I could spend a bit extra and get the full warranty with the machine from apple and then upgrade the ram etc for less than £20 myself but i could easily come to an agreement on cash deal with you and collect over the weekend for instance.
#11
It's still available and I'm about at the weekend, but, this isn't really comparable:

Refurbished MacBook 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - White
13.3-inch glossy widescreen display
1GB memory
120GB hard drive
Combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
Built-in iSight camera

Mine has 4GB of memory and a SuperDrive, so that £599 one doesn't even burn DVDs. :s And mine's slightly faster too..

Anyway, make an offer. :) I can only say no..
#12
weren't trying to compare 'as such' mate just saying other brand new macbooks (albeit lower spec) are about and can be upgraded within your price range of the older/higher spec model....

To be honest i was looking to spend £450, this clearly is someway off from your price hence the back and forth between different deals/for sales on HUKD i have been doing this week!! so will bounce around for a little while longer before deciding what to do lol
#13
Heh, I get that - I was just pointing out the differences. :D

Yeah, £450 is way too low - if I can't get about £530 after delivery costs then I'll probably eBay it.
#14
lol mate, i will see what i can do after i sell a few bits or make a choice between another couple.
#15
hey, you still have the macbook?
