Oh I hadnt realised, I checked the Rules about OEM software but couldnt find anything on there about it so I thought it would be ok?

OEM needs to be sold with hardware

I thought that rule had been lifted by Microsoft? If not then I am happy to include a random piece of PC technology to conform with the rules

How did you get a Dell branded OS with COA they don't sell them as far as I have ever know?
#7
Don't Dell OEM versions check for Dell BIOS on install?
I would have thought they would have Dell motherboard drivers rather than any standard set.

Someone i know bought one from Fleabay worked fine on any unit only OEM though

No it's just the OS with Dell drivers included, you can make your own with nLite if you so wished. Anyway the software has no value it's the COA thats worth something, be interested to see how the OP got it.

Thread closed - this issue has been raised in the past. As pointed out by the above members the OS software is linked to the Dell PC it was sold with & cannot be resold on its own under the licence agreement unfortunately.

If you can find an update to this then please send the relevant info for MOD review http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif from an official Dell source, but please don't relist.
