Surely the BT person should have the option to pay by paypal 1st?

Referee - Didn't I meet the terms offered 1st ?

If offered the £36 1st, i was asking if the seller would take BT, as seller would not i'll pay with paypal
#12
You could have offered £36 in buttons, got knocked back and then changed it afterwards.

Also your offer was conditional
'I'll take this for £36 if you would accept bank transfer?'
- Trying to get it cheaper by avoiding Paypal Gift fees.

Surely you have to meet the terms and price that the seller is offering?
#13
get a grip, i've offered the whole £36, i was finding out if seller would take it as a BT, my post wouldn't let me edit that, i tried to this morning again, i tried to take off the "If you" i'm still the 1st offer up and will pay with paypal

I didn't even know there was paypal gift fees
#14
Reason why we need a referee.
#15
You snooze you lose, he offered first, get over it!
#16
Personal view, you asked for Paypal gift which W1zz offered first, but its an offer the OP has the right to refuse whoever he wishes, if Bank Transfer is better for him then thats what he's accepted.

So who Ref's on it and how long we have to wait?
#18
If you want a mod to referee then press the little triangle thing on the left and report the thread. They will come pretty quick!

That we do.

Whilst it is FAIR and POLITE to offer the item to the first person who has posted, it's up to the seller who they sell to and they're free to choose who they sell to.

HOWEVER, it's important to remember that once a buyer has made an offer and the seller has accepted the offer, the seller can't then sell to another buyer.

This isn't the case here, and I don't believe that the seller is in the wrong in any way.

We dont think the seller is in the wrong either cause nothing has happened yet

So seller should offer to 1st person, that being me then, yeah

not necessarily!! I offered a asking price on a recent sale and the seller decided to sell it to the person who offered after me because he could sweet talk the seller!

Completely upto the seller to chose. The seller may want to sell it to a reputable person on hukd rather than a newbe and have problems later!

Not trying to point at you or put you down - just saying its sellers final decision as I recently learned!
#22
Not a newbie, i have sold on here before, just never got the feedback, also been around since 2006
#23
Wizz, however has 2 positive feedback and has been on here since 2005. If I was selling I know who I would sell it to. (sorry Guitaristkam but u did provisionally offer it by BT and was rejected by the OP, whereas Wizz offered it by OP preffered method of Paypal)

As i stated already, i was only asking if BT was an option, i was still willing to pay with paypal if not BT and i did offer the full £36

Oh well, just wait to see what seller says, at the end of the day its their choice

OP is going to have a shock when he sees this thread flooded with comments and 2 offers at asking on the table!!

So Edbug sent you a reply saying Only paypal gift as you posted If you would accept BT. However he didnt and stated only paypal gift, which is what Wizz offered first so in theory HE was the 1st person to offer the correct amount and methid of payment. You then Followed over an hour later with an offer via paypal.

Its like going into a shop, you have a credit card and no money, you see an item which only has 1 left, you take it to the counter but then cant buy it so you leave to go and get money from the ATM, however in the meantime, another shopper comes in, sees the same item takes it to the counter and pays in cash. . . .

Dont want you to think I am against you or anything mate, just pointing out the facts, The OP may feel that you deserve to be the buyer of this and choose you to purchase his item, If not then its just one of them things.
#28
Well i'm sorry i work nights and didn't get back on till later, i cant just sit on here all the time waiting to see if i got it or not, i was at work when i posted the 1st offer and i couldn't get back on to edit it until this morning, but didn't edit cause there was other posts

At the end of the day, its down to the seller, so how about leaving it to them and stop filling the post with all the comments on "what you would do" kinda stuff
#29
I am sorry guitaristkam. The way i see it, W1zz offered me my requirements first. So in that case... Sold to W1zz. Nothing personal mate. Taking to PM.

Was shocked to see all the fuss on one of my threads!
#30
