I have a hard drive transfer kit for the XBOX 360, it transfers all your data from one HDD to the other without having to take it all apart.

I have used it once and now dont need it.
Comes with instructions and disc.

Used to transfer all my data from my 20GB premium Hard drive to my 120GB elite one.
Shipping/Payment:
Price includes RM Recorded delivery and is inclusive of all paypal fees.

Erm.... aren't these free from Microsoft ? Even if you have to wait a decade it's still free, you shouldn't be making a profit from it. Should only be the price of delivery if you ask me...

are they? i didnt know that..... to be honest, i bought it for a tenner so just looking to get that back, if not, can just stick it on fleabay. if you can post a link to show these are free, ill gladly expire the thread...

ok, have found the form on the MS website and its only free available for those who are changing from the premium 360 to the elite..... (i.e. need to have serial numbers of both consoles) so would assume they do not provide this for free for people who have upgraded their hard drives only. i think on that basis, i can leave the thread unexpired. mod, please advise. link to xbox site below:

most people who still have the hard drive to transfer data to 20GB / 120GB usually have the console to so serial number wont be a problem , and yes they are free whoever you bought it from ebay etc probs had in listing why wait 4 weeks to recieve from microsoft lol

i meant people who have bought just the 120gb hard drive add on.... not a new console - if that makes sense?

To be honest, I have no clue, I just always thought these were free from Microsoft - But the catch is that you have to wait weeks, maybe months for it.
You get a free one is when you buy a new 120GB hard drive or when you buy a new Elite console, so you can port all your saves and downloads from the 20GB hard drive to the 120GB hard drive (one time use, and only from the 20GB to the 120GB). And obviously if you happen to buy a 120GB hard drive off eBay or something, you can order a free data transfer kit directly off the Xbox website.

Here says that a brand new 120GB hard drive should contain a transfer cable.

The Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive includes a data transfer kit to easily migrate all of your saved data from your 20GB HDD to your 120GB HDD.
