Hey guys and gals, after 2 years with my iMac I'm looking to go a little more portable since I hope to be off traveling soon. Looking to do a straight up trade of my iMac for your Macbook (black preferably) or maybe older Macbook Pro.

Bought the iMac from the H.E Apple store in May 2007 so comes with the H.E extended warranty which is 3 years i believe so is covered until May 2010. Never had any problems myself but you never know.

Specs
2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB 667 DDR2
250GB
Airport/Bluetooth
3 x USB2
1 x Firewire 400
1 x Firewire 800
Gigabit Ethernet
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 128MB

Boxed with old style wired keyboard and wired Mighty Mouse. Comes with Leopard install disks + original Tiger disk I believe.

According to this place its a late 2006 model

Serial number: W865217AVGN
Name: iMac Intel (Late 2006)
Model: Mxxxx iMac Intel (core 2 duo) 2.16GHz
Bus speed: 667MHz
Screen size: 24 inch
Memory - number of slots: 2
Factory: W8 (Shanghai China)

Full specs on those models can be found here http://www.lowendmac.com/imacs/imac-core2-duo-late-2006.html

According to Mac2Sell its worth £700 so looking to get a similar spec'd/priced Macbook but will consider any offers.

Located in Oxfordshire so more than welcome to come and pick up/have a look. In terms of delivery will have to look into that later on but i dont think it'd cost more than £25-30, may be able to drop off within certain radius.

Any Q's feel free to ask.

How much for cash?

I might be interested with a swap for a 2 month old macbook aluminium unibody... but need to check some things out first. I would like a bit of cash on top though....

Edit: or, would consider a cash offer depending on your price
