FT/FS amazon.com $45 gift voucher £24.00

Hello,
I have a $45 gift card for http://www.amazon.com for trade for an equivalent gift voucher from amazon.co.uk or similar company (play.com, ...) or eventually to sell.
This voucher does NOT work on http://www.amazon.co.uk, only on http://www.amazon.com.

The best way to use this voucher is to buy CDs or DVDs from http://www.amazon.com (hence the classification as 'Entertainment').Please take into account the p&p fees and the possible duty tax if you buy from the US and ship to the UK.

By the way, I have 2 such vouchers, but I applied one on my own amazon account to find out it does not work on amazon.co.uk... So If you want to buy something priced $90+ from http://www.amazon.com, I can do it for you (you will have to pay for it of course ;-) )

Thanks

Price going up from 21 to 24 to reflect current exchange rate, as I am still not in a hurry to sell.
Basically, I'am trying to sell it at a 10% discount to the face value ($45) converted in £.

I am afraid it is too low.

I am hoping to manage to travel to the US this year, and if so i can use the voucher myself easily once there (because I mostly buy electronic and game consoles which cannot be send from US to UK).

I was going to offer £10 haha! Think you are expecting a little bit much for a voucher, especially a US voucher - I think £15 is a fair offer, and probably the top end that you will get....just my opinion of course :)

No problem, I was after some books but the prices are similar in the UK for the ones I'm looking at, so I'd only import them if they were a little cheaper.

You may be right, but I am not ready to sell them at such a discount, all the more since the discount largely pays for p&p US to UK.

Guess I have to hope that someone finds a good deal at amazon.com, and then I will post in the thread to remind people of my offer. It is allowed, isn't?

Erm....I'm not sure! Cant see any reason why not, but sure a mod will advise in due course on that perhaps!

Sorry not trying to put you off advertising at that price, more that as you say it may be worth holding onto them as opposed to getting the price you will get :)

No problem mate.
I do know I am expecting a lot, but I am open to sensible offers :) And I have no need to sell now, I can wait.

Thanks for the offer, but is way too low considering the current exchange rate ;-/

Fair enough - was a watch I'm after, might just eBay it though. Thanks anyway.
