To clarify,

For a xbox 360 elite, cash and a 16gb ipod touch I would like a Playstation 3 (bundle?) as I don't have enough money to buy one right now unless i trade these or sell them..

thanks

I have a 40GB PS3 or 60GB PS3 sitting here that I might think about trading.

Can you give me some more info on the ELite (as in condition, age, warranty, reciept, boxed etc), same with the games, same with the Ipod Touch etc and what you want in return for it all.

Xbox 360 elite, perfect condition as far as i am aware.. 120gb hardrive has like a slight part of the D written on "HDD" scratched off but hardly noticable..

Comes with box and cables etc, and all books AND receipt..

I think the warranty has gone but hasnt had problems ( red lights or anything like that.. )

Ipod touch
16 GB with box and USB cable.. Slight wear and tear tbh, used it in my pocket which meant the back has very light scratches but lots of them .. Ive felt it and you cant even feel the scratches so they can probably be removed.

^ perfect other than them ( works fine etc )

I have like £30 cash maybe 50..

and il list games later ( all good condition )

basically, take a pick of it all and offer me something up and il see if I can take it..

PS3 at minimum with games hopefully? or blurays etc

I have either a 40GB PS3 or a 60GB PS3, both boxed in excellent condition (apart from the light marks on the top of the things which are more due to Sony's stupidity in making the PS3 in the most markable material, than anything else), both boxed, both fully working with the latest 2.60 firmware (making them as up to date as you can get in regards to blu-ray playback.

I have a remote control (not official) but in great condition and fully working, along with several games sucha as COD4, COD5, Tom Clancys Endwar (Limited Edition with headset) etc and a few others.

Take your fancy?

As for what I would be offering, well that depends on the games you are offering with the Elite. Can I ask when (as in date on thge reciept) and where you got the Elite from?

It's from gamestation and quite long ago I do believe..

And im happy not to take any games if you are? I'd swap my cod4 for yours but I scratched it so damn bad it wouldnt play for more than 5 mins but ( Rented from lovefilm and burned to hardrive ) now when i put it in it plays from hardrive haha best update they ever made!

I know it was in 2007 erm.. ah here we go..26/09/2007.

I heard the 60gb onces break or something to do with the ps2 playback?

The 60GB machines have had some trouibles in the past, but Sony do a scheme called Continuous Play where you can pay £5 a month and they will guarantee that you get a working replacement within a set period of time (I think its 2 working days).

Anyway, WOuld either keep the 60GB or sell it, so if you wanted the Backwards compatibility (I dont use it) then it would be the better one to go for I would imagine. And its worth a bit more too so you would be getting more for your trade, but its up to you.

As for leaving out the games, Im ok with that as I still play on all my games so would be sad to see them go.

Anyway, either a 40GB boxed or 60GB boxed PS3 for your Elite, 16GB touch and lets say £50?

Yep both are boxed with all leads and Six Axis controller.

As for condition, they are both about the same, both very good condition.

Pending pictures of the IPOD and Elite, we might have a deal here....

If your deal falls through, I might consider getting rid of my Samsung BDP1500.
I only have one HDMI you see, and its taken up by my PS3, which plays everything.

Let me know

Cheers for the pics,

Is the IPOD in warranty? Also have you registered the 360 with Microsoft at all?

Erm, how do I check if the ipod is in warranty? lol.. I bought it with my first bigger wage which i would say was like october?

And I think I might have added the serial to my xbox live account yes, not sure if it can be transferred?

To sort that I could have gave you my xbox live account too? it's just I added another 13 months to it like less than a month ago! and I'm pro at cod4 :o haha Unless?
#32
If the serial number has been registered with Microsoft, then there is very little chance I will be able to get it transferred to my name and address and therefore I am taking it without any warranty whatsoever. If it dies in 2 months then I'm all at sea and a £60 or £70 repair to pay for. (Admittedly you are in the same position with the PS3 however SOny do allow you to pay a monthly fee for warranty purposes, so there is some warranty comeback there if only by the fact that it will cost you £5 a month for the priviledge).

I have an Xbox Live account with about a year left on it and 9,500 unused points, but the issue is that without it being registered in my name and address, Microsoft wont honor the remainder of the RROD warranty (which would be just under 2 years on it). Because of this the value of it is greatly reduced. I just sold an Elite a day or two ago, 3 weeks old with the 1 year manufacturers warranty, and the rest of the 2 year RROD, in mint condition with a game for £160 delivered, so an Elite with no warranty, well its open to debate, but its not going to be worth £150 is it?

**** Edit **** Just seen its the 360 Elite from this post here...

http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329354

So in fact it will be going to at least its 3rd owner (not sure where Bazz got it from but could be more)

As for the IPOD, again have you registered it with Apple? If not and you can prove when it was bought, then there will be some useable warranty on it.

Also if you have only had it 3 weeks, have a load of games and 13 months of XBLive on it that you have just purchased, why the need to get rid of it? (baring in mind that you are keeping the games)

But what about if it ever had problems you can text me or ring me and I'l get it repaired for you from microsoft?

And I've never registered the Ipod and il see if the reciept is still in the box.

I appreciate the offer, but its a lot of mucking about, for both of us, and something that I simply dont want to get involved with if I am honest.

Let me know if the reciept is still with the IPOD and what date is on it.

Ah found the reciept..

ACTUAL bought date -
18/09/2008 @ 16.07 for £209 lol..

Gonna have a think on this, not keen on the Elite and its potential lack of warranty, plus the cost of a back for the IPOD to replace the scratched back you have on it currently.
