Only £110 all in.
I built this about a year ago from spares on EBAY. I wanted to see what was in a laptop.
Lever to remove CD drive is busted but CD drive can just be pulled out and plugged in again.
Can change the CD drive for DVD (guy selling them on E-B**)
Windows 2000. Don't have the original CD anymore, but it has proper COA underneath.
Windows 2K is loaded along with all drivers.
I used clonezilla to clone part to another part of the same drive. Have used Clonezilla to restore it back again also, so 15GB left for W2K and data.
Has builtin bluetooth and 802.11b wifi network card, but the internal aerials for them are missing/ busted.
Has modem and normal wired NIC.
Has PCMCIA wifi card.
Has universal power adapter(I think, its under comp table, and that's a mess down there!)
Working perfectly apart form same CD drive doesn't read every now and again, but switch off/on always fixes that.
If you going to use CD drive a lot then maybe not for you. If going to use laptop to surf and general office stuff, then perfect for that.
I think there's either none or one bright dead pixel on the screen.
Shoot, I'm cutting me own arm off here really! It's like an old car, it's worth more to me than it is to sell it, but since buying the excellent t23 off a guy on this site, I just don;t need it anymore.
Eek. £110, not all in, have pity, pay the postage also.
Dunno about this, hopefully won't cost too much. £5 P&P and I'll pay the diff.
