asking price is in the op :)

a wasnt sure as it says £40 and £20 for repair
#5
I will offer £20 posted as this is around the going price for faulty ones. £40 is way overpriced I am afraid.

after she bought a new set i noticed an advert for a repair service so did a little googling and seems there are quite a few company who do a repair service on ghd's

wish we'd known earlier :(

in your opinion :)

im open to offers but not going that low if i get no better offers ill send em off for repair and either keep em as spares or flog em fully working
#8
Not my opinion, just look on ebay ;)
#9
what if the repair doesnt work! its not guaranteed is it if you dont know whats wrong with them?

apart from the fact you cannot use ebay as a valid price comparison as per the forum rules i have looked at completed listings here http://completed.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?MA2ShowItems&_ipg=50&_sadis=200&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_in_kw=1&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_samihi=&_samilow=&_fpos=Postcode&_oexkw=&_udhi=&_udlo=&_rdc=1&_adv=1&_sop=12&_ex_kw=&_nkw=faulty+ghd&_dmd=1&_okw=faulty+ghd&LH_Complete=1&guest=1

and the prices can go anything up to £50 and seem to average @ £30ish inc postage costs :)

£50 for faulty GHD3's...I don't think so. So if an average of £30 (more like £25) then you are £10 overpriced.... Show me a comparison shop that sells faulty ones then... I've made my offer. Can repair them for you too if you like...

the link shows you ghd's sold recently on ebay the site you used to as an example of the going rate for faulty ghd's they have sold for up to £50 or more .

my price is just a guide im open to offers as i said but not your offer im afraid
as for your offer of repair ill go to a reputable repairer and get a warranty thanks for the offer though :)

So you know that i'm not reputable then?! Thanks for that. I said that there are no faulty GHD3's on there going for £50. That is just rubbish. But you carry on, you obviously know best like most people on here talking rubbish....and enough free bumps.

i dont know if you are or not but if you read the rules you cannot offer business services here so i guessed you are a hobbyist ?

if £20 is your best offer then it's a no thanks sorry

hi there just a suggestion but you could always try purchasing this item and see if that fixes your problem 110511632246 (ebay) they are easy to fit as I done it to the wife's pair there's also a video on there showing you how to do it and for that price I would give it a try
