Yea the yellow cable is a composite cable.

If you already have a DVI port that is unused then you can get adapters:

#2
is that only for mac's m8 as i have a pc
#3
it 'should' work as dvi is a standard fitting
#4
I thought that these things were made for PC's too, I just knew that they were sold at the apple store (saved me searching for one). Didn't know that these weren't made for PC's though.
Strange, I thought that DVI signals were universal for Mac's and PC's allowing this adapter to work for any computer with a DVI port. Haven't seen a PC's user commenting about using one.
Maybe it is just Mac compatible.
Could query apple about it.

What type of card?

PCI or AGP or PCI Express?
#6
m8 whats the difference lol
#7
it depends on the mobo
#8
Different slots, dependent on the motherboard (mobo).

Think about it like different types of memory card (sd, mmc, xd etc.), same main function.
#9
ok my pc now has one thats a red colour right above the pci slot if that helps im geussing thats AGP
#10
sounds like AGP. do you know what make/model your mobo is?
#11
hmmm, my 6600gt has a vga, dvi and an svideo but it came with an adapter for the svideo that split into composite plugs, is that the same?
#12
its mostly the same m8 but its not really what i wanted as i have 3 graphics like that but my laptop has the yellow composite hole and i find the picture more better i also noticed that i can never get the s-video to show colour picture only black and white
