Hi,

I'm selling my beloved HP NX6110.

The spec is Intel Celeron Mobile 1.5Ghz
512 MB Ram,
40GB Hard Drive
CD rewriter/DVD Drive.
2 Usb's, mini firewire.
Ethernet + Wireless b/g.
15" screen.

Fully boxed & owned from new.

Of course I'm not allowed to sell this with OSX on it so that would need to be removed and restore windows into the laptop (xp home edition, serial number is on the underside of the laptop).

For you budding people who are interested in the OSX side of it, well it all works except 2 issues (standard on all Hackintosh's).

1. When running on battery and it goes into standby the mouse will not return on wake up (works OK if plugged into mains and goes to sleep and the wakes up!).
2. Due to mirroring the display the mouse "disappears" off the left of the screen if you move it off the screen, but comes back when yo move the mouse back (if that at all makes sense!).
3. When Plugging in headphones sound still comes out of the speaker.

Other than that it fully works, usb, firewire, dvd, full hardware acceleration for qe & qi under osx 10.4.11.

Of course these issues do not exist under windows xp.

Picture will be posted if anyone is serious about purchasing it.

NO trades and price is non negotiable.
Shipping/Payment:
£200 cash on collection.

Or you will need to cover shipping costs (I don't know how much this will be, but it will only be what the post office charge to send it out special delivery next day before 1pm).

Of course paypal fees on top (unless paying by paypal gift or bank transfer).

Correct it is not a mac as in it isn't made by Apple, but it can run as a Mac.

If that doesn't make sense let me know and i'll try to explain it.

if you plug your headphones in and it still comes out of the onboard speakers then you have got a hardware fault, this unit may have a seperate audio board ,in which it would need replacing or if the audio is onboard then the mobo needs replacing and the mouse moving of the screen this could the display is setup

NO that is incorrect.

This is a driver issue with running Apple's OSX operating system on it.

It works under windows without a problem.

I agreed, that is the driver problem as may be incompatible, there is nothing to do with the hardware
