HTCWildfire S (Black) - Open to offers £170.00

I’m selling an unwanted upgrade from Orange.

It’s the HTC Wildfire S in Black. It arrived earlier today and the box was only opened to remove the sim-card. The phone and accessories haven’t been touched.

The box states it contains the handset, battery, charger, headset, memory card (2gb from what I understand), usb cable and user guide.

I’m guessing it will be locked from Orange as I’ve only ever had 2 unlocked handsets from them in the past 10 years.

I’m looking for £170 delivered.

Open to offers! Need this gone before the weekend.

Once again please feel free to supply links as the cheapest on amazon i can see is £195.

As for the phones4u price, it appears to be a promo which know one has confirmed when it ends/eneded, it seems to be hit or miss on staff giving it and the black handset seems to be very hard to get.

Please if you're going to keep saying its cheaper somewhere else, supply links with your comments. If you're simply looking for me to drop the price, I'm open to offers.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass...

Not sure what you were reading but the phone posted in that link is £144.00 and is white, not black, if you can find a black one thats the same price, I'll consider matching it up def not dropping to £90 for a brand new phone that hasn't even been switched on yet!

If you'd like to make another offer, I'm here all night....

Thanks but still have to pass, there wouldn't be any logic in me letting it go for £40 cheaper then what you can buy it for, esp when its brand new/unused. I'd rather take my chances on ebay, just trying on here first to cut out the fees.

But you can't just buy the phone.

If you can show me somewhere that sells the black handset for £130, I'll reconsider.

Did you even read that thread? Looking at the posts, it was a mis-price. Please stop posting unless its something to do with this thread.

They were £99 at CPW I don't know if they still are though.

I think you'll find that was the HTC Wildfire and not the HTC Wildfire S...

Come on people if you want me to match a price, at least find something valid for me to match. I'm not going to match "it was" prices or "shop only" prices that some people can and some can't get. I'll consider anything thats sensible but please if you're going to post, back it up!

I'm not going through all 100+ pages of that thread but going by the op, it lists "HTCWILDFIRE3LOCKED £99.95" which isn't the HTC WILDFIRE S! Or am I missing something?

as for your second link, have you not read the rest of this thread? Firstly, the online one is white, if you can point me in the direction of a black, feel free to! And if you're going to make an offer, feel free to! otherwise please stop wasting mine and your own time as you're posting links to a different product! Thanks.

cd02 - you're being more patient with this lot than I would have been. FWIW I think you're being quite fair in your pricing strategy and in all honesty you will pocket more selling it on eBay than wasting time with low ball offers here (even after fees).

Best of luck.

low ball offer? £130 new from P4U, i understand its dif colour, but this also locked on orange, i think my final offer of £100 is fair.

but i do think other people shouldnt spoil this thread, and should ask in the orginal post tho.

ps mayb OP should have a option button of deleting post in the sales forum

Once again thanks for the offer but I'll pass as you can not buy the phone for £130 on its own as they won't let you have it without the simcard/credit! if they did it would be classed as a handset only and would double if not triple the price. As for it been locked, from what I've read there isn't a g'tee that it will be unlocked, the only way of knowing is asking instore. Also from reading around, it doesn't appear that anywhere does an offer on the black handset, backing up the fact that it is worth more.

The FACTs are that these sell for £150-170 on ebay regularly. Regardless of network. You cannot buy them for £130 brand new anywhere. £100 is therefore low ball IMO as its 40% off the OPs asking price. You're right about threadspoiling though so I shall now bow out of this thread :-p
