any negotiation on price ? and would prefer a bigger picture and to be able to see the minor cosmetic damage, plus what assurances are there it actually works ?
#3
Sorry about the picture but I only placed the link supplied by photobucket, tried resizing but nothing worked and it was not very clear. If the information is supplied I will try to supply clearer photos
Price is not negotiable as it has been a well cared for unit. The cosmetic damage is more for people who moan over any mark. the unit is 3 years old, it will have marks but as I stated nothing that draws your eye.
I appreciate the doubt over the functioning of the unit, I would want to know but I can only say it is working, and working until only a few days ago when I exchanged the new one for it.

I'm not very clued up on these units - can it only record the picture from Freeview or could it also record the picture from another plugged-in unit like a satellite receiver?
#6
No it is not a satellite receiver only freeview however does have picture in picture
for watching two channels at the same time.

I appreciate that your feedback is not exemplary, and with this in mind and the fact that you have been a member here for a few years. My offer would be £45 but I would pay £30 upfront and the balance when I am happy the item works.

For the full amount I would consider.

If I were to pay the full £50 .. as in your asking price, I would be prepared to pay £25 upfront and then the other £25 once the machine is set up and running for 24hrs

I would expect the £10 for postage is express ?

postage would be royal mail standard parcel( 3 to 5 days), and as you stated £30 up front (I still have to pay post). The remainder when received and checked.

sorry but I will only go to £25 up front and the rest on delivery, I think having the 70 odd feedback speaks volumes for my trading, and as stated your feedback is a bit how you say lacking.
If this is not acceptable I will respectfully withdraw my offer

Sorry as seen on here feedback means nothing, I would be committed to sending an already discounted unit, using my own money for P&P and if you decided other wise I would be a further £25 out.
I understand your reluctance and thank you for your interest and polite manner of negotiation.
