Was wondering if anyone had an IDE HDD they wanted to get rid of?

Looking for sizes up to and passing the 250GB mark. Must be in good working order, no bad sectors. Can pay via paypal.

Hi Simon, I don't have an IDE disk as large as 250Gb. Hard to come by these days.

What I do have is a 160Gb, 7200rpm IDE. Well, actually marked 164Gb...that 4Gb could make all the difference. :o)

It's a Hitachi Deskstar, model no. HDT722516DLAT80, if you want to Google the specs.

Nightstud - Dont have the space in my machine mate (its a very small ITX setup and therefore only room for one drive unfortuantely).

Inb1966 - How much are you after for it?

I have a 500gb IDE drive that I might be selling in the near future I'm just waiting to get a replacement sata drive. Would you be interested? Also do you have any laptop ram, laptop sata hard drives, other laptop parts to trade?

Hi, could do it for £17 delivered. If you do want it, let me know if it should be formatted fat32 or ntfs for you.

Mini - Definately interested if I cannot get a large one on here...

Jennyrocks - Yes I'd be interested in taking the 500GB off your hands and yes I have Laptop Ram I can trade for it, what are you after exactly?

Inb1996 - Have been offered a 160GHB for £15 delivered from Mini0ne so will have to pass on that.

No problem, Simon.

You are aware that the wd1600aabb is an old ATA-100 drive? And has only 2Mb cache.

Not really comparing "apples with apples".

I have a 250 gig one its a bit non standard though as has double jumpers instead of 1 and a label listing all the alternate modes.

It seems a bit laggy but I think thats as a single pin is a bit pushed in so was going to tweezer them out.

If you want to risk it I can do it for the £25

Ryouga - Whats the model number? And can you budge on the price (I sold a 500GB SATA on here the other day for less!)

HDT722525DLAT80 Hitachi Deskstar which has the specs on Amazon link.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000A2FGCA/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

Make me a n offer on it bearing in mind I want to send it Collect+ which would cost me £4.50 just so I can package it up well to avoid a chance of shock damage.

EDIT the link doesnt work sorry just google the model number, it says its 7200RPM
