Collection possible in Birmingham.

I would have happily purchased the 8gb for £169, but unfortunately 8gb is just too small for my needs. If you plan on listening to music AND watching videos, 16GB is the only way to go. Even with the 16gb I couldn't even put a third of my iTunes library on. If you consider buying the 8gb, you might as well buy an iPod Touch and a Prada phone.

Edge will be useful especially if you take out the O2 Simplicity tariff. I spoke to two O2 salespeople and both said the Unlimited Web Bolt On can be used for free web access on the iPhone.

EDIT: I know there's a few useful comments on here, but if you're just gonna knock my sales by adding irrelevent and quite often snide comments, then log off.

It will be a problem with unlocking Iphone 3G;it will be available, but at any time Apple can lock it back when you connect it to Itunes, because of algorythm they used in it. I dont understand why so many people didnt used a chance to buy Iphone earlier, for £169 it was real value for money. This new 3G Iphone has just minor changes, not even worth buying it now.

No, Apple cannot lock it back if connected to iTunes. Only if you choose to update the firmwire through iTunes. If you update through jailbreaking programs then there's no problem.

iPhone 8gb first gen sold out incredibly quickly after the price drop, that's why.

No actually, the plastic screen has NOT been removed. Believe what you like, I'm not taking offers anyway.

Don't know if this'll prove anything to you:
