My offer still stand (£260 for the phone lot) if we can talk about the contact detail exchange (doesnt need landline number), anything (like address) you prefer to give away to complete the agreement between you and me. Money is ready for bt transfer. thanks.

Don't know but something just seems a little suspect re. this fella. Many of his posts mention the need for address details and/or phone number for a bank transfer. I smell a rat. Also many of his posts are on high valeu products. Sincerest apologies if I am wrong, but I smell a Nigerian bank transfer scam amongst us (excuse the generalisation).

Please do not take me wrong. I am a genuine uk buyer like all of us.
I enquiry for some personal details from seller for my own protection since I am giving out a huge amount of money (regardless of feedback). Otherwise I will be the only who will be blame if there is a dispute on the sales and I wont be getting back my money (not to this seller but in general)

For your info, I used to open a thread to sell a iphone 2g here and people are shouting to me that it is a mandatory to exchange the personal contact (like landline number and home address for further verification of the sales, kind of protection for both sides). Correct me if I am wrong. 8)

Further clarification, this is the only high value item that I had made an offer.

I'll up my offer to £255 Marz.

I will take it for £260 as I do not need the adaptor.
Let me know if this is fine for you.
If yes, let's move to pm.

Thanks
#20
Well, since you insist to sell the lot including the adaptor, I will take it.
So it's £265 (phone, box, charger, usb lead, mic adaptor + special delivery)

Lets move into pm. thanks

Just wonder do you still have the receipt of the replacement phone?
If yes, do you mind to include that in the delivery?

thanks.

ok, like people say in football, big team will normally get better decisions.
Similarly, members with less feedback get screwed here always...this is the second time I been treated badly by high feedback members...what a nightmare.

Can any senionr show me what is the best way to deal when we (less feedback members) are buying high value items as we are not comfortable with paying such a huge amount of money with just given a bank account number. Does it sounds weired if your buyer ask you for personal details (like ebay account and landline number) for verification and self-protection purpose?

MarzBarz, Belfast is part of UK not Ireland. You should make a trip here sometime, as there are so many wonderful things here which many people didnt discover.

Anyhow, all the best in your sales

I'm not too sure about the rules but I do think since he accepted your offer first, he cannot then turn around and offer it to another party regardless of feedback or not. I'd stand corrected by other senior members though. Thanks.
