For sale is my girlfriend's, white, iPhone 16gb 3gs. It is currently locked to the o2 network. The phone is in excellent condition. It has been extremely well looked after.

It does however suffer from one fault. The power button doesn't work. This has never been a problem for her as she has it set to sleep a minute after use, and the home button wakes the phone. The volume buttons, headphone jack, and silent switch rocker all work as they should, and the tactility is still present within the power button. Maybe someone with knowledge of repair could fix it? I couldn't tell you if the phone had been opened before as I bought it from one of the missus friends (After they run into a little financial difficulty). Entering the serial number on Apples warranty site, it states the phone is in warranty until May of this year. I would return it myself, but neither have an Apple store near me, or have the time/transport to travel to one.

The phone will come boxed (Only an 8gb 3g box im afraid), with an official wall plug, official usb cable, and sim removal tool.

I am open to sensible offers, I am aware it is essentially faulty, but could be something minute, and even repairable/replaceable under warranty.

The phone is not currently jailbroken, however it is currently running ios 4.0, so could be if necessary.

Phone will be posted by special delivery.

Cash on collection is welcomed. Or payment by bank transfer.

Thanks for looking.

WILL ALSO INCLUDE AN OFFICIAL, UNUSED PAIR OF APPLE HEADPHONES.

I couldn't say either way, so I won't state it hasn't. I'd hedge it more likely hasn't than has, as the couple we bought from aren't that technically minded.

Thanks for that, but at present, just looking for a sale. If I don't have any luck here, i'll explore that route further :)

No thanks. Ive seen ones in far worse condition with no warranty go for more money.

Plus, ppg is not an option. BT or cash on collection.

Out of curiosity.

If the battery goes dead on it, how would you turn it on?

Or when you want to jailbreak, you need to be able to hold the power and home buttons, how can you do that without a working power button?

Plugging the phone in to charge also boots the phone. There is an app that puts the phone into dfu mode so that you dont need the button combo.

And if the battery is dead, the phone would certainly need charging before powering back on :)
