long shot i know but i'm after an i pod for my little girls -needed for friday. i've no idea how these work, how you get songs on, charge them etc. do you have to pay to put the songs on them?we are on hols soon and she really wants to take her songs with her. dont want to pay alot.any ideas, info etc would be greatly appreciated!!!thanks in advance.

Apples guide for new users on how to use itunes and ipods. Hope that helps you

itunes is easy to use basically start it up put CD in computer and it will ask you if you want to copy songs select yes and it will download them onto your computer automatically.

Then plug in ipod and it will sync with itunes copying the music across depending on how old she is i am sure she will get the hang of it in no time :)

if it's for a little one you're probably better off buying a different brand of mp3 player that's a bit cheaper than an ipod. most are really easy to use

thanks for that-she's just turned 6, so any ideas?seen any cheap anywhere-or anyone got any to sell?

I have a iPod nano purple 8gb? Sure I still have the original box with all the bits papers and that in, already has lots of songs hannah montanna chetah girls as my lil girl has it for her bday in feb, so all girly songs, saving for a iPod touch now, not sure how much they sell for I paid 100 in argos and it not a year old yet, would want £50 recorded del?x

thanks-got cheap mp3 player from the bay-paid £3 for it-came this am, and managed to load with songs ready for her.also having the ipod shuffle for myself.thanks for all advice!!
