I've owned this from new, and transferred all of my videotapes onto DVDs ages ago, so it's now surplus to requirements. The firmware was updated to remove macrovision and add more recording options (1hr,2hr,3hr,etc up to 6hrs on a disc) and the unit will take any blank dvds without problems. There are inputs for a DV videocamera under a flap on the front, and even a firewire connection!
Unit is boxed with instructions. It's approx three years old and works perfectly. There are two small issues- the drive door sometimes gets stuck and requires a tap on the top to open (it's had a ps3 on it for a bit- prob a bad idea- this can be sorted by taking off the top of the unit and bending the metal back up 1mm or so) and the drive isn't whisper quiet- it's always made a little noise that hasn't gotten worse over time or anything, please remember this was one of the first home dvd recorders. The unit has had approx 20 hours playing/recording in total over it's life, so is in mint condition.
Price is £45 inc postage and paypal fees.
