Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote Universal remote

I have a supposedly deactivated Harmony One remote. It still works on my system but unsure if you will be able to reprogramme it for yours... This would be ideal for someone who needs parts, wants to try and hack it, or wants to gamble on the fact it isn't actually deactivated... The unit comes fully boxed with instructions and charging cradle.

Here is a link to a description and pics:

I don't really know what Im looking for but any sensible offers will be accepted. I would also accept a swap for anything cool (surprise me!).
Shipping/Payment:
Shipping will be £5.00 as it is all boxed and will cost at least this if not more... I will post it out when any monies are paid or swap item received...

A bit looking up has came up with this:

The remote works, but has been de-activated by Logitech, meaning you can't register or program the unit through the Logitech Harmony Remote Software. Hopefully, someone can use the remote for parts or has the know-how to get it up and running again. The item is in great shape with no visbile wear or scratches.

The unit was deactivated by Logitech for what they considered a defective cradle. They issued a full new replacement and deactivated this item. It turns out the cradle issue is relatively common and has been corrected by placing a small piece of material under the contact.

Basically since it's faulty, the OP asked for a replacement - Logitech blacklists the old one - which won't be able to be updated, to programmed to control a different hardware. So unless you have exactly same TV/player as the OP, you wont be able to use it I think.

You've sold via PM though, which is against the rules..... if mods see the thread you'll probably end up with a suspension, especially seeing as you're also selling something which by the sounds of it you've had a free replacement for (meaning your profiteering too).

Nothing in the thread (which is where the offer has to be made according to the rules) so if you are dealing by PM then that is a big no no here :x

Thread closed, profiteering/dealing via PM.
