Hi, I'm looking for a 512MB PC133 144 Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory RAM. Hoping someone might have one lying around from their old upgrade parts.

I just found these if you need any in return:
Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter 802.11g 54Mbps
256MB PC2-4200 144Pin Laptop Memory RAM
128MB PC133 SODIMM Memory RAM (another 64 and another 128? Doesn't say on the module but could check if interested)
Shipping/Payment:
Shipping up to the other party. As long as it arrives usable, I would be happy.

Related eBay search to see what's on offer & for how much.

thanks for that. I'm trying to avoid the hassles of selling/buying on eBay. So prefer if someone wants to trade or part cash/trade, or cash. Trying to keep this as cheap as possible since I'm not 100% sure it would work on the machine due my lack of knowledge of motherboard and such.

No problem, eBay link provided for reference, so you know what they usually go for secondhand.

What's the laptop's make & model number? I could help you do a search to determine compatibility with 512Mb modules.

The laptop is not brand name. It is called WinBook. I ran a check on upgradememory.com

Computer Identification
Manufacturer: 56548, American Megatrends Inc.
Model: Unknown
Processor: x86 Family 6 Model 11 Stepping 4 Genuine Intel
Intel Celeron CPU 1200MHz

Motherboard Identification
Manufacturer: American Megatrends Inc.
BIOS: AMIINT -1000
Name: ???
Product Number: 241S
Front Side Buss: 100Mhz

It also says I have 2 slots available and can take a maximum RAM of 1024MB. But that's not correct, I only have 1 slot. upgradememory did not give any suggestions was to which memory to get.

Any ideas from this?? thanks in advance

thanks for the ebay link, last time i checked it was way more expensive.
crucial asked for £45 for 512mb ram for my ibm t23! so ebay at £18 is sweet.

The laptop only has 1 slot so i'm looking for a 1x512mb. If I find that it can't accept a 512mb or can't get a hold of it, than i'll go for a 1x256mb. I'll pm to let you know. Thanks for looking.

Winbook is the make. If you know the model number, you could ask Winbook Live Chat Support support directly.

If no help, run the scanner at Crucial.

I have 2x256mb memory which I don't need anymore.
I upgraded my laptop and this is now not needed.
is this the osrt of thing you want or do you want 1 x 512mb?

would it be possible for me to take one of the sticks of 256mb ram off your hands? (as long as Slash doesn't want both)
If so, how much?

Tried the live chat but they couldn't find my model or serial number. No luck. Think I might have to stick with a 256mb or something to be on safe side. thanks for links
