Could you tell me more about the 80gb and 120gb hard drives:

- How old is it?
- What size it is (2.5 or 3.5)?
- Does it still have a warranty?
- What speed/cache does it have?
- Are there any bad sectors on the disc or errors?

Would you be willing to do the 120gb for £15
#12
I have a few Hard drives kicking around at home, I THINK theres:
2 x 40gb
1 x 80gb
1 x 160gb

Theyre all machine pulls that should be working fine. Ill test them all once I get home but how about
40gb - £10 delivered inc paypal fees
80gb - £15 delivered inc paypal fees
160gb - £20 delivered inc paypal fees

The capacities are off the top off my head, but I will double check when I get home if you are interested in any.

Sorry - not worth me getting rid of it at that price - will cost at least £3.50 to send it recorded, add on fees and packaging and I'll be lucky to see £9.

Cant find the 80gb one.

The 160gb one is a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 160GS ATA/133 HDD
MFG Date 30JUN2004

There is a scratch on the top of the label from where its been caught on something when removing/installing the drive.

Ill take a photo of it later if your interested in it.

Cheers, shane
#19
Yeah, a photo would be great
#20
Does anybody else have anymore drives to offer as well?
#21
Cant seem to find my camera. The hard drive works fine and will be formatted before sending. The scratch on the label is only a slight scratch (hasnt ripped the label or anything) and there is some sort of metallic "tape" down one side of the drive which was on it when it was pulled (seen it on a few drives - not too sure what its actually for though).

You still interested.

I do much appreciate your time, Thanks again
