Here we go, selling this because I want to buy a Mac Pro!

Usually I give this site about 48 hours before I go to eBay.

Specs:
1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
2GB DDR2 SDRAM
320GB SATA Western Digital 7200rpm HDD (normal mini has 5400rpm)
DVD-ROM / CD-RW Drive
Intel GMA 950 Graphics
10/100/1000 Ethernet
Built in AirPort Extreme Wireless
Firewire 400 Port

Everything as standard included:
The Mini itself
Box
Documentation
Original 10.5 Discs
Apple Remote
DVI-VGA Converter
Power supply and cables

Upgrades were done by myself. I'm a full time computer technician for a county-wide IT support company, also Mac specialist for the firm.
Shipping/Payment:
Price includes Royal Mail Special Delivery. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. If you don't want to send as paypal gift then buyer pays the fees.

Any apple care or warranty remaining?. £395 seems steep

Look on completed auctions on ebay and you'll see that original spec going for around £360 plus postage.

Add on the extra cost of the HDD and ram and you'll see its actually a decent price.

Warranty ends this month I believe.

Which version of OSX?

Do saw it sorry

mac2sell values this at £290(inc upgrades),you will need to adjust your price accordingly if you want to sell

ebay comparisons are not valid on here

pfft. well show me a link for someone who has sold this spec for that price. obviously im not going to sell this for over £100 less than what i could get on ebay. Be realistic.

The least i'll let it go for is 370 delivered. Anyone who's actually been looking to buy a mini will see this is a decent price.

Hi,

Can the warranty be extended? Is the warranty still valid as you have upgraded?

I am looking for a MAC at the moment so still working out prices

Cheers

Yep the warranty should still be valid.. I actually took it into a Mac store and got the main board replaced. Was totally honest with the "genius" and told him I'd upgraded it etc etc. Work was carried out no problem.

Pretty sure you can still purchase some apple care.

just a piece of advice for anyone looking to buy this, please check this:
http://www.tuaw.com/2009/09/30/rumor-roundup-imac-and-mac-mini-due-to-refresh-before-october-9/
It seems the mac mini might be getting 'refreshed' and thus these 'older' units will drop in price further.

Not trying to thread spoil OP merely state the facts of the Apple world.

Also after Ebay and PP fees on ebay even if you got the £370 your saying you want minimum you would only be looking at £320 maybe...

EDIT: furthermore someone was selling the same spec i believe minus the upgrades over a year ago asking £380:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/254797/fs-ft-mac-mini-with-apple-keyboard-
Thus i think over a year the depreciation although the upgrades would make it a little less at least.

Plenty of fair comments being made.

I will listen to offers!

Think I will wait to see what happens with Apple. I get 17% discount off a new one anyway so may hang fire

Cheers
