For sale is my Mac Mini, this is the latest model from Apple, warranty till 21st January 2012.

This Mac Mini has been upgraded to 4Gb RAM and 500GB HDD.

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz // NVIDIA GeForce 320M

The reason for sale is I have finished my project with it and just bought quite a few iPad 2 yesterday, hence this becomes a surplus
Delivery to be added on top or you can arrange your own courier.

Yes, I am open to reasonable offers.

However I just sell as how it would come from Apple. No keyboard and mouse sorry

Forgot to mention, I have original box and the HDMI to DVi adaptor as well

thanks for the update..

just a few questions, in relation to set up, I will be connecting it to my hd plasma, would I need a separate hdmi lead to do this and would it be a plug in a play type deal.

In respect of set up the apple shop said that I would be able to get phone help to set up, ie, wifi, itunes etc, have you used this facility with your purchase ? or do you know if I get stuck they can help out ? I am just a bit wary as I have a pc and would like to change across to a mac.

I just need to know that once i get it out of the box its a an easy set up for a mac novice

This MacMini is still have free phone support till 21st April so I assume your setup questions are sorted

This has HDMI port so yiu can just plug a HDMI cable in and it will work straight away

Hope that helps
Hi Heovang,

thanks for the reply.

Yeah thats the ticket, in regard to phone support.

In respect of the machine and I do note your feedback and I know that your a long standing member, but would you be prepared to let a relative see it working? My parents live in Manchester plus my step father just bought a mac and he knows his way around them better than I do, as you would imagine for a purchase of something this expensive I would need to know it works, as I am sure you would need to satisfy yourself if you were buying .

I am totally happy for your relatives to pick up at my address, however to "see it working" is restricted due to some personal reason.

I don't see the reason why this Mac Mini would not work, as it is only 2 months old, plus it has Apple warranty, the Genius Bar is always very good on issues within warranty. However I can always offer you a full refund plus I will pay for your return postage if the item turns out to be not working when it reached you. Which I am sure it won't happen.

I can also take a picture or a short movie of the Mac Mini connected to the screen and is working fine ?

Let me know

Hi Heovang,

thank you for the update and thanks for the offer of full refund and postage.

Just a few questions and I am sure you will be able to help.

When did you buy the mini ?

who did the upgrade on the machine was it done by apple ? and why the upgrade?

Do you have all the original paperwork for the mini,

and yes some pictures of the operating systems menu etc would be good

And where about in Manchester are you

thanks for your patience with my questions

The MacMini was bought on 21st January 2011, therefore you can tell the warranty (12 months) expired on 21st Jan 2012.

It was me who did the upgrade on the MacMini and it does not invalidate the warranty at all from Apple. As I have own every single Mac products and all the warranty will be honoured if you only changed the RAM and HDD. Why ? Because it is much bigger hard drive and more memory.

I don't have the paper work for the MacMini, only a dispatch note. Apple doesn't care about the proof of purchase when you bring it to the Genius Bar.

I will upload pics later on as I just got home and it is late now, but tomorrow morning will be the latest.

And I am based in Salford Quays area

All my points above can be easily verified by either you ask the Genius Bar instore or ask a few members on here that has got experienced with Apple warranty.

Hope that helps DC

Hi Heovang,

thanks for the update and I await some pictures.

I have spoken to the folks at the Apple store in Bath and they agree with all your points and if I make the purchase they can help with phone support which is good news.

In respect of the machine I take it you bought it from Apple ? and I asked about checking the serial number of the machine against the data base to check if its on the system also like the imie numbers give me piece of mind that there is nothing suspicious about the mini, he indicated that this can be done via the web site, and I am sure you can provide the serial number so I can check..

Also will you be able to take screen shots of the OS so I cant satisfy myself that everything is as you mention. I still would have preferred for my relative who is local to you, to see the machine fired up and working.

I await the pictures etc

Hi DC.

Here is the screenshot of the Hardware Overview:, in which there is a serial number display so you can check, the website address to check is: LINK

Screenshot of the HDD (500Gb)

Screenshot of the 4GB RAM:

Picture of the MacMini is up running and connected to my LCD. Because of where I put the Macmini is not together with the monitor and plus all the cables at the back has been tied, therefore:

The White LED indicates the Mac Mini is on.

Hope all of this help, regarding the visit to see it is up and running, I can't meet that demand sorry. However as I have mentioned, your relative is more than welcome to pick up the Mac Mini from me , and I give the refunds offer as I have mentioned. I hope my feedbacks do back me up
