For sale is my 13" Macbook Air, it is the standard Mid 2013 model (i5 2.6GHz Haswell CPU, 128GB Flash HDD, 4GB RAM, Iris graphics etc) off the shelf model, no custom Apple upgrades. I purchased it from the Apple store in Cardiff in the first week of October so it's around 10 months old. It has been used lightly for location audio recording and internet browsing and that's about it. Comes with original charger, original box etc (everything that came in the original package).

I purchased Applecare warranty for it at the time of purchase so it is warranty covered until around September 2016. It has never been repaired or damaged and no faults have occurred since purchase. Battery cycle is currently 78 as shown in the picture below which is excellent.

Price is £700 + £20 for insured delivery.

I've probably forgotten some information so any questions please let me know :)

EDIT: In light of new information I have lowered the asking price to £670 delivered.

EDIT 2: Price lowered again.

I would not consider the lowball that is £500. How did you get the price of £717 may I ask?

Called up with education discount because am at Uni after summer. Yeah I suppose it was a lowball :P - I'm just comparing the pricing to USA, my friend is there for a holiday. I'm likely going to get her to bring me back from there instead.

I see. Well I think it would be silly of anyone to expect a USA price match (due to the VAT+import difference) but I have slightly adjusted the price.

Price is now £699.99 including delivery.

You might be looking at the 11" model for £670, the 13" costs more. The Applecare was £50 at the time of purchase.

Looking at the 13inch through my University network. Took away the value of the Gift card:

Plus anyone can get it refurbished certified from Apple for £679 here: http://store.apple.com/uk_edu_5000627/product/FD760B/A/refurbished-133-inch-macbook-air-13ghz-dual-core-intel-core-i5

The price you're trying to sell it on for is way too much.

Someone on avforums just sold theirs for £530 albeit minus the applecare.

Well I think it's fair to say giftcards aren't "money off", in any way shape or form although I do appreciate they add extra "value". In regards to refurbished, it will always be refurbished and therefore in a different category to second hand mint condition under extended warranty.
to be fair though I didn't know the student price had gone that low since last year (I can't access my university discount anymore as I recently graduated and I paid £800+ for mine less than a year ago :L)

Bearing in mind this new information I will lower my asking price to £670 delivered. Considering this Macbook Air is in mint condition and warranty covered for OVER two more years and is available to ANYONE not just students I think this is more than a fair price. I will not be dropping it any further.

how is refurbished in a different class to second hand?! they are essentially the same and I would probably rather have an apple certified refurbished one if needs be.

p.s. I already have one so not interested myself

They are if you sell them - I can probably sell that gift card for £50 meaning a brand NEW Macbook Air for £680. You're selling a 10month old used Macbook Air for £10 cheaper.

I will consider making an offer if you consider changing your current asking price. Otherwise, good luck with your sale.

I'd say they are different myself (although I'm sure others would disagree) as I never buy refurbished anymore for a reason, whilst I still buy carefully second hand.
One has been used without ever having a problem, one has been used and encountered a major fault and been repaired by manufacturer. Personally my past experience with electrical items (having had countless 'repairs' in the past) if one thing has gone wrong with an electrical item it is more likely to go wrong again in the future or affect other nearby parts. (Probably due to keeping repair costs at a minimum not concrete by any means, talking from many disappointing personal refurbished experiences).

Thank you, but I'll not be changing the asking price, if you feel inclined to make an offer you know what to do :)

£535 was certainly a one off bargain! whoever bought that got a steal! However, £600 delivered is just a tad too low for me sorry buddy

Offer appreciated though :)

EDIT: I would accept £630 delivered if that's of any use to you.
