Warranty till Aug 2009.

It's the 8MB cache version so it's not absolutely fair to compare with my drive with 16MB cache. Moreover, it's actually £37.99 delivered rather than just £31. :roll:

Well sorry I have to reject your kind offer as the shipping cost itself is about 5 quid and it's difficult for me to swallow that at £20.

Are these worse or better then the maxtor diamond 21 series?

Among the DiamondMax 21 series, only the 500GB drive is backed by 16MB cache while the rest have only 8 or 2MB cache. The DiamondMax 21 250GB has 8MB cache though.
