You'd be an idiot to sell any of the 'rare' ones - the common ones are ten a penny designed to get every moron buying loads of burgers because they have "half a house" without realising that one part is limited to keep overall prize winnings to the numbers quoted (or less if you assume a small % will end up lost/ in the bin). If you have the common ones it'll cost the prizes value to buy the last one, if you have the rare one it'll cost pence to complete the set, making threads like this rather redundant unless you're looking to trade the various free food vouchers for other food vouchers.
#9
But how do you know when you have a rare?
#10
Go to ebay. People will be selling ALL the common ones for very cheap.

Leaving you to hope for the rare ones (the ones you haven't got).
#11
anyone got a list of the rare ones?
#12

I fail to believe that you and your gf are so close that you even know what Macdonalds promo stickers she owns...

oh and also I don't think they anticipate anyone actually winning the top prizes, half a million and that- they usually have insurance against anyone making a sucessful claim.

Anyone have Euston Road?

Look... no one in their right mind would give it away. Of the blue ones, that's the winner. The others which you have are actually worthless. :)

No, somebody selling a normal monopoly (not mcdonalds) card and a fool bidding £2K for it. Imake that a £2K profit for the seller.

You'd be the dumb one to bid on it as the one on auction is NOT a mcdonals voucher.

I only quickly looked and I wouldn't be bidding anyway. I'd rather win fair and square.

Item - 260225926369
There's another example of a so called 'Coventry Street' card. Notice how nowhere on the item it says its a mcdonalds one.

It really annoys me the people who do this. Its not a defence to say 'oh well you should have read the description more thoroughly' Its designed to be deliberately misleading

I hope someone does win the auction and pay the seller. When they receive the 'monopoly card' have them take the seller to court, win and make ebay close this fraudulent loophole.

As much as i agree with your opinion on these sellers, i don't see how they would win at court as they got exactly what they were bidding for. Also, notice that these sellers usually send by special delivery so that they don't have to refund via paypal.

Not the case at all mate.. I messaged the buyer and he told me he hadn't paid a penny and just wanted to make sure no other poor sap paid anything for it.

Said the guy confessed he'd wrongly advertised it when he offered to collect in person lol

nice one, i guess the seller didn't like this too much. all the "buyer" has to do now is to refuse the mutual retraction:)
