Ok, no worries. Won't bother listing spec.

GL with the sale - I'd suggest a picture of the item with your username next to it and some details about your feedback elsewhere though

One question, why spend over £40 on accessories and then sell it after a week??
banned#8
1) Did you buy from Sainsburys for £176.15?

2) Are you selling the Vista licence, or did you include a legal OEM licence, if not you are not allowed to sell on.

the work volume licence isn't legal if you selling on. Will check this but fairly certain it isn't. Unless you sell it to a colleague :P

alos, where did you by it from, and for how much?

not sure of the about the licence, i administer them at our place so no issues there it's valid for life, but if anyone has an issue i can restore to xp.

paid £255 MedionShop and then there's the £25 for memory and £25 for leather case and charger.

fair enough, though as the administrator you would know the vista licence is only applicable to your own company, and not just so you can resell them.

Also whoever buys the laptop would not get the key (I assume, since your company would hardly be happy about you giving your VLK out), nor a legal copy of the windows vista dvd.
#13
well all i was saying is i will ship it with vista. that machine has a licence on it at the moment. it comes with the xp disc and full licence and i'm happy to put that back on (complete restore) or leave vista on and let the buyer do as they wish. just taking some photo's now

The OP has stated that they bought this from the Medion Shop. jimlad21 do you have a receipt or purchase order to prove that you paid this price, as it will help your sale (don't display any personal financial details if you do upload a copy) Thanks
#20

Ok - thanks. I've offered it on two other wanted threads today at £210. If neither of those two are interested - or if you are - I can start a new thread for it tomorrow and offer you first refusal. :)
#24
i will pass but thanks for the offer, it's a good spec for the price you are offering.

Same Laptop but branded Advent only £189 from PC World (refurb + voucher). Memory's less than a tenner. Case and charger can be bought for very little.... I think you're a bit over priced mate.

Hang on I'm confused now...

Did you, or did you not buy this laptop from Sainsburys in the sale?

If so, you can't sell it for £240 - and because its fairly obvious that you probably did buy it in the sale, a mod has asked you for a receipt to prove you didn't.

You seem to keep changing your mind unless I'm missing something.
#28
where did you get the case from??

#34

To clear up confusion, I think you'll need to post proof of purchase from the non-sainsbury route ( a pic with personal details removed? ) .

You'll probably also have to acknowledge that despite what you paid for it, potential buyers are going to take the cheaper price (i.e. sainsburys) as the benchmark.
#36
this is crazy, it's a good price, i think i will list on ebay, the sainsbury deal finished.

even if i did pay £179 for it with the travel charger and the leather case and the crucial fast memory it comes to more that £240

seems to be more trolls than buyers in this thread

it is perfectly legitimate for members to be asking these questions, especially if there is some doubt about the veracity of your purchase claims.

I was with you until this post. But if you now avoid posting that proof of purchase, I'm afraid I'll have to join the doubters about where you actually bought this. You might be right about the pricing, but it's your reputation as an honest seller that is now at stake.
#38
Avoiding posting the proof of purchase is suspicious, it's a pretty standard question too considering part of the value of what you're selling is the warranty - which requires the receipt.
#39
well i will be selling a receipt with the item. what you want me to scan in my credit card statement? to prove what? that it cost more than people are suggesting even though that deal has long since gone? and it's still cheaper than anywhere else and that i don't have a gun to someone's head making them buy it?

listed on ebay now.

Expiring for you and asking mods to lock

edit: for future reference, it's against the rules to have a thread open whilst for sale elsewhere, so I'd suggest you get it locked yourself next time
