first ya need to get to £5

i wil start with £4 just to get ya going (thats including delivery)

and ur goona get flammed cos its not ebay ya no

Not sure if this is exactly the same DVD set, but it only costs £6.93 new from TheHut.com with free postage.

Admittedly they do have quite a long delivery time but still think you may have to make it cheaper than £5 + postage to get anyone interested...

>>> that will make a change! your on... thought if we sell it at £X+ upwards will give a few members a chance to grab it!

so £4 from allstar2 is the starter for 4

>>> yep is a long wait and they have not got any coming from their supplier + this is sealed stock so makes a nice prezzie!

So what's the postage cost?

>>> at cost e.g however the buyer wants it... about £1.90ish

have not seen this in stock anywhere for months at anything less than £14.50 + post, yes there are some clearance and 2nd hand ones cheaper but this is sparkling... plus the films are fantastic! :gift:

you can get this from asda for £6/7 new i want it but i wouldnt offer more than £5 inc postage

Got this for £3 instore at HMV just before Xmas, don't know if still doing it...
#7
your not allowed to make this an auction.

your offer was £5 - i would offer that inc postage.

>>> so are you offering more than allstar or not... this (yet again) was not a post to get flamed, it was also not a thread to find out who can always pay less than the person posting... it is a sale, it is not an auction... the item is NOT £3 and if you can find one for £3 it is not sealed and will NOT include postage...

so if anyone who is NOT interested in buying it... posts elsewhere like under Misc forum would save everyone who IS interested in buying it reading through the fluff... thx

I think the point they are trying to make is that you say you will accept the highest offer...which is essential an auction, you wouldn't go into a shop and see something for £5, but offer to pay £7 because somebody else may have also wanted it.

Anyway sorry for posting in your sale/auction thing, but I did originally have an interest.

Isn't "Highest offer over £5 by Friday 6pm 18th Jan get it!" essentially an auction with a reserve price, not a sale?

The £3 HMV/£6 Asda etc stuff is also allowed and encouraged as I understand it under the Forum rules, pointing out cheaper/similar alternative elsewhere?

My last bit of fluff :)
